The "hunting the dinosaurs" theme is the only thing that's keeping this from being a "buy" for me.  Nothing against you guys, but I'm soooo tired of games that make me hunt and kill these animals.  That's one of the things that attracted me, for better or worse, to Primal Carnage.  The ability to play AS the dinosaurs and get revenge on these gun-toting humans. >:D
Ah yes Primal Carnage. On of a kind. On its current trail, this game will be one of a kind too!

I'm normally not especially drawn to dinosaur games in general unless they have some sort of unique hitch. The Hunter: Primal has survival (more like helplessness :P )elements, Primal Carnage has its team based system and variable game modes, Dino D Day has its storytelling, and I'd love to see this game bring something new to the table. The alternate appearances are a great idea, albeit not a unique one. Your environments show real promise and I feel like immersion is where this game can really shine. Don't shy away from things like small animals, animals feeding on one another and on foliage, even animals digging burrows or building nests. Something like a documentary/photography mode would be very unique, and it would fit very well into a highly immersive environment.

I'll be honest, I'm rather upset with the current trends in Primal Carnage since these new guys took over.  I donated to the game back in its infancy, and during the cycle up until the dreaded "recode" that became Extinction, I felt valued as a donator.  Since then?  Not so much.  They're pussyfooting around the PS4 release, and I'll bet my bottom dollar that they won't have any way to transfer any donator stuff from the PC version to the PS4 because they no longer give a crap.
I'm excited for REBOR's Acro!  Can't ya tell?

I disagree wholeheartedly. Look at all the great things Extinction has that the base game didn't. Yah the gunplay isn't as great but its worth that to have new subclasses, no longer gm locked spinosaurus, an entirely new economy system and countless new skins. Content updates are faster and more frequent than they ever were with the original team, and the game itself has better performance AND more content than ever.

I have to say that complaining because they no longer have such blatant bias in how they treat certain members of their playerbase is somewhat offensive to me. I know people who were actually mocked or ridiculed by certain members of the old dev team, the dreaded 1.3 update that broke the original game completely was entirely the fault of one of said developers. They gave out nearly 250 FREE copies of extinction to active members of their own forum, plus a huge discount to all owners of the original game.

I think I'm being entirely frank when I say that the (mostly but not entirely new) "new" team is doing better in literally every way possible. Yes, as a donator you are no longer getting as much special treatment, but imagine for a minute what it felt like before being a non donator, most of the donators who were active on the forums actively mocked those who didn't get things as early as they did. It was miserable and horrible how the cliques like that would form and pick on the other members, most of the developers and mods wanted it stopped and that in part is what lead to the splitting up. So please before you start complaining about loosing some of your special treatment consider for a minute all the bad things that treatment caused.

Primal Carnage has always been a PC game. Genesis was an utter failure and I think a PS4 release is a bad idea.

My apologies to the Wrath of Goliaths team for doing this here, but I needed to say it, for my own sake. And hopefully the failure of the original Priml Carnage team can serve as an example for other development teams.

I honestly don't know.  They say it's coming this year, but all they've shown as far as the PS4 version happening is three screenshots.  But that's sidetracking big time.

I'm sure Wrath of the Goliaths' developers have seen both the ups and downs of crowdfunding and won't promise more than they can give.  I know that if I can't play their game(my computer can barely run GTA Vice City lol), I can at least get some amusement from watching others play it.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been active. I haven't felt the best. I really think you guys will get to see WOGD come to life, either in its original idea or in an updated concept. We have had our ups and downs, trust me (Some may have noticed a couple of models that are from in another game that is being developed. We wont be using the models though)

Anywho, I would love to give out some free copies of WOGD to supporters and active members :)

For now, cya guys!

Hey guys, I am the lead developer of Wrath Of The Goliaths: Dinosaurs.

I will answer a few questions to clear somethings up.

First, no unfortunately at the moment we cannot bring this game to Ipad as it is core developed for PC.

Secondly, we will be doing a crowdfunding campaign, and one of the reward tiers is choosing one from a select few of the dinosaurs to appear in Wrath Of The Goliaths to be 3-D printed and either unpainted or possibly Hand Painted. This tier may be pricey as it will be painted exactly as it appears in each render, and will be posed. However, give us an email, we may be able to get you an early print.

Third, the Spinosaurus walking on it's knuckles was a request from me. I'm far from an expert on dinosaurs, Manuel is the one who is on the team, but I thought that this would fit in. It would be a reasonable thing since there will be three variations of the Spinosaurus :) The Bipedal, Quadruped, and the old-reconstruction or The Jurassic Park style (I hope at least, it may resemble another reconstruction that is very similar to the JP3, but styled different)

And lastly, since we are doing crowdfunding, one of our goals is to bring it to console (at least as of now). I had originally hoped to bring it to the Wii U with Unity 5, but since the switch to another engine that lacks support for the Wii U. The Wii U version will either receive a different exclusive game, or an exclusive spin-off or sequel (if we are lucky with the reviews of the first game).

I'd love to hear more from you guys! I let Manuel, the artist of all the dinosaurs you've seen, know about all the praise you guys have send and I am sure this will make him very proud!

We love to hear all kinds of feedback, so please give me an email at: [email protected]

Wow! I'm not a huge gamer but seeing your dino designs and the demo I will be wanting this! I have two kids and I would like to know if playing as a dino will be very violent? It would be cool if there was a mode where you could just wonder around as a dino an not see a lot of blood. You know - as safe mode for kids. And then a splatter mode for adults so that you can be T.rex and eat everyone up! Tee-hee!

Why not simply a no blood mode.   I assume your dino will have to eat in this game, and you know what that means for Carnivores.

Never put much thought to younger audiences playing, but I totally understand. A no blood mode may be enabled by default, but I'm unsure as of now.

Folks, Manuel has now uploaded - at my request - a 1/30 Shapeways model of one of his Tyrannosaurs and the Saurophaganax.  He will be uploading the incredible Spinosaurus as well.

I have ordered the TRex and will review it when it arrives. Its 40cm or 16 inches long.

Here is Manuel's store link below.  He can upload ANY of the dinosaur designs for this game to Shapeways (now that is mind blowing, isn't it?)  Just PM him if you're interested.

His Shapeways store:  https://www.shapeways.com/shops/manuelsaurus

Here are the models uploaded so far that you can order:
