What colour scheme are you going to go with?  Amazing how far this has come.

I'm thinking greys, browns, with a red pattern in there.  Maybe some smaller lighter splotches?

Reading up on the progress in your garden always gives me a happy feeling. It's just too darn nice all!

Thank you, we are striving to keep growing. Our donations have fell off a bit though during these colder months. Making it a bit of a struggle to get 50.00 for screws even.

I can already see how adorable that baby's going to be!

lol I was asked why I didn't make the mom with her mouth closed, so I did it on the juvenile. The other will have it's mouth open making a good contrast.  But I tell you they don't look nearly as "cute" bellowing at you with all those rakes in their mouth!  ;D

Mosasaur framework, gotta figure out where to place the motor...

triceratops83

Kinda reminds me of behind the scenes photos from Jaws. The Mosasaur is still working...
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

This fellow, Conrad, has a good number of teeth as well...maybe not as many as Jaws..but his relatives could have eaten the big fish per Jurassic World.. lol

Meso-Cenozoic

Wow, I must have missed that you were going to make the Mosasaur into an animatronic! Very very cool! Head and flippers? ;D

Thanks!  If possible I would have liked to have animated the neck, mouth, flippers, and body to an extent. The whole thing could have had and up and down lunging motion, flippers went up and down together and the head would moved sided to side. My problem is the cost. It's a 100.00 just to get the neck to move the head back and forth. For what I wanted we would have needed about 400.00 so I had to cut costs. :/  We still need about 600.00 to finish the whole building and set work.

Arul

Since it won't have one it will totally up to your imagination! lol  The rest of the animal will be hidden behind rock so we can fit more in this smaller space. ;)

Thanks! I'm sure you'll like "Conrad". :)

Here's our first plesiosaurus I'm attaching the head here :

The wood pieces I had specially cut to attach it didn't work..so I had to improvise with some different gauge wire.

fabricious

The shape of the head looks really promising!

I hope so, I just sculpted over a Dinostoreus skull for this project, like I did with the Velociraptors..just too darn small for my bear paws. They teeth especially would have made my eyes ache to sculpt.. heh

Hopefully the foam I'm applying will cushion it!

Nah..maybe if I make a male I'll go that route..still considering i I should do one or two..maybe one now and a second down the road..just have to hang on to the stencils.

You have no idea...lol  I can't just sit apparently...always have to be working on something.  If we're goign to do this forest path in 2016 I have to have at least 5 more dinos done by then..that's after the Stegosaurus and marine reptiles.
