Safari never officially releases anything until the Fall--if anything was revealed, it was because a retailer (often Link & Pin Hobbies) revealed things before they were supposed to.

My rep there told me retailers would see information in mid-October, but I don't know when they plan to go public. Probably soon after, since someone will spill it even if we're not supposed to.

Fluffysaurus

I recall everything dinosaur it was i think that said Dinovember? Dont like it all the waiting.
My Fluffy is red.
My beaky is green.

So I learned diving for Internet there are rumors that these products will meet them in mid-October.

One of the figures is the problematicus Leedsichthys. From what I've heard that these figures will be very nice.

I do not know if this is a hoax.

There are no confirmations of anything right now--just internet 'facts'. Safari has never specifically said yes to any species, just given unanswered hints.

And, as I said two posts below, retailers will likely see previews in a week or so, with public releases probably following soon after. Or immediately after if someone breaks the rules. Which they will. They always do!

But it won't be me.

Fluffysaurus

Well i hope if its a fish i Will like it. I am not very fond of fishes. Unleash they look weird

A Nothosaur? Or maybe an early Ichthyosaur? Cymbospondylus? Or a Placodont? Or maybe even an invertebrate? All we know is it's marine and from the Jurassic. There are so many possibilities, I don't understand why everyone seems certain it's a fish. Not that I'd mind a fish. I missed out on getting one of Malcolm's very cool Xiphactinus models.  :( :(  But I fully agree, all this waiting sucks!!!

It's far worse when you've paid for his Leedsichthys--two years ago--and still don't have it. Or, much communication about it...

But at least I have the Xiphactinus!

None of those are Jurassic actually ;).

Wow, two years! That's crazy. I guess the most frustrating part would be the lack of communication. Maybe that kind of uncertainty is a necessary part of the territory when dealing with genius!

To be honest, I would really love the animals you mentioned to be made by Safari sometime (particularly Nothosaurus, non shrink-wrapped, and Placodus) anyway.

Maybe I'm confused here, but aren't you referring to Takama's clues about one of Schleich's 2016 fugues?

Hard to tell exactly but I think it's a sea lion or fur seal.

Takama dropped enough hints (that it's Paleozoic, that it's a fish, and even a simple cipher of the full name) that it's pretty certain that Schleich is making Dunkleosteus (and also Dimetrodon). Separately, Safari posted a hint on their fb page that one of their six 2016 releases would be a marine animal from the Jurassic.

I agree, I think that's almost certainly a sea lion.

I would have never guessed it was a sea lion. Looked like some demon worm from the bowels of Hades.  :o

Other years before revealing the news of Safari. I am disappointed by the secrecy. In the previous three years that did not happen.

I get the impression that the release of sales figures Safari will not be like previous years from November to January. They take now to sell these figures at least in the online commerce is concerned about that from March to April, as once did.

I think this year except Schleich, the remaining figures of the other companies take to be revealed later this year November in the best or late December.

Moreover the Leedsichthys is a fish of the Middle Jurassic.

They have never revealed more than one or two figures prior to Ocotober in previous years--if anything came out, it was revealed eraly by a retailer. As I have already said. They will be giving us retailers info soon (this week?) but I don't think it is supposed to go public yet.

And judging by Schleich's early reveal...the early bird is the worm, so I'd suggest patience.
