Oof... really hoped for PNSO to release the 7 minis individually, like how they should've from the start instead of jacking up the prices by including a book and a fancy box. Oh well, a real shame.
The Megalodon I'm surprised they're discontinuing, since it's one of the more well known and popular prehistoric critters our there.

More like one of the most Overatted and Mundane Prehistoric Crittors out there ::)

Hey Jerry, any updates on the Amargasaurus release?
No progress between the relationship of Zhao Chuang and Yi Niao?

Hi buddy!

Rumors are flying all over.
I heard people talking about Amargasaurus to be released in October more than Mr. Zhao's discontinuition with Yi Niao these days, so let's have hope for the brighter side.
They also say Mamenchisaurus once published by China Post, will be released under the brand name PNSO in October as well. Cheaper, and no stamps.

So far, PNSO has been showing signs of chaos and everything we discussed here and there is not proven - as always.

But there are at least 2 things for sure:
1. Megalodons are out of stock and PNSO has no plan to produce it very soon. One can still find them on the market but from PNSO official store: NO. (proven by PNSO customer service)
2. The China Post 7 Little Dinosaurs mini set was discontinued recently. The production last for only several months and there will be no more forever (proven by a friend in China Post)

It would be interesting to liberalize the amargasaurus, is for me one of the most beautiful PNSO has done so far, including the spinosaurus of the same brand.

Regarding amargasaurus it surpasses all other companies to date. It would be a great figure for any collector.

Aw, that's a big disappointment! I really wanted this set and had hoped it would become more easily obtainable, rather than vice versa...

My set of 7 minis and the Mamenchisaurus are now winging their way from China, thanks to acro-man.  I didn't want to miss out on the minis.

Did they changed some of the paint jobs on some of the mini dinosaurs?  The Ouranosaurus and Kosmoceratops looks different.  Sadly the seller is using stock photos for the the rest of the pictures so I can't tell.  It the first picture I'm talking about.  They had a new paint job or this is old prototype photo.

A general manager of one of the PSNO retail stores in China recently told me personally that due to a business dispute PNSO has halted all production of their toy lines and collectibles. It was by a court order. It remains uncertain what will happen from there.  :(

Yea, that was mentioned in another thread as well a few weeks back.
That is unfortunate.

That is bad news but expected as he said in his day Acro-man. I would have liked to buy your amargasaurus, it's a shame.  :(

I still don't understand what happened exactly. What's the dispute about? Such a shame if their Amargasaurus and Spinosaurus won't get a release.

postsaurischian

The Amargasaurus is the greatest loss :'(.

Well, looks like yet another company that had this forum as a large consumer has (possibly) bitten the dust. I have only ever managed to get 3 of this company's figures, all of which were from the minis they released quite near to their beginning as a model company.

I would like to see PNSO do an Edaphosaurus.

suspsy

Given recent developments, I fear we will not see an Edaphosaurus from PNSO, or any other prehistoric animals for that matter. :(

PNSO is practically dead, I wouldn't hold my breath for any of the unreleased models.

I have faith that PNSO will surprise us again with new figures and I also think that they will interrupt the unpublished models they planned to do. As I comment, hope is the last thing that is lost.  :)
