You are welcome. I think also know where Schleich ripped the Utahraptor design from.

Feathering: Raptor from Ark

Color: Partially

This being Schleich they of course changed a few details.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Magazine version of Pentaceratops is out:

Any news on that new Plesiosaurus Schleich was supposed to release some time this year?

IT was a leaked model that i think they decided to cancel because someone leaked it on the internet in the first place.

At least thats what i think given the greedy nature of the companey

I think it would be cool if Schleich made a new prehistoric mammal range. Their old one was awesome, and I wish I could've picked them up.

Has anyone seen the new cave bear? I usually order from wonderland models in Edinburgh. Great shop btw. My son loves bears and penguins as well as dinosaurs lol!

Cave Bear? You might be thinking of the Papo one.

If the current release theme continues, we could probably get them in 2019 or so.

So far:
2016 - Devonian to Early Jurassic: The First Giants
2017 - Late Jurassic & Early Cretaceous: Conquering the Earth

My theory:
2018 - Late Cretaceous: Rulers of Earth
2019 - Cenozoic: Reign of the Beasts

Doesn't sound that plausible.  Even if it got leaked they could still make money from it. It was probably a case of someone confusing the Plesiosaurus for something else. Or something else went wrong.

I wouldn't put it past them, they've gone so far as to threaten sites for hosting leaked product images.

to those who already own the new Stegosaurus: what is your opinion? is it worth getting?

The new Stegosaurus by Schleich isn't so bad (but I have better Stegosaurus figures in my collection):

Honestly if you are a compulsive collector of dinosaurs and you can afford that luxury (buy it) but I would recommend that you save that money for another figure better than this one of the same brand kentrosaurus that will be released in July or other figures of other companies is my recomendation.

sauroid

thanks for all the input. i am currently on the fence. i saw it yesterday at my local Schleich distributor store and it looks good (but not great) and im not sure if im willing to shell out $22.00 for this Stegosaurus. might succumb tho when i see it again this weekend. :-\

btw, im wondering why Schleich is overpricing their figures. same size figure from Safari and CollectA would cost only $10-15.00 (not to mention the quality is more superior).

Man, after seeing that video I've got to get that stegosaur. I would have so much fun repainting all those veins. I already have an overall color scheme in mind.

there's almost a Paop-esque quality to the new stegosaurus.
