Got the Brachiosaurus today

Is it just me or does that Brachiosaurus look very cheerful?

CityRaptor

Not quite sure. But compared to Schleich's older Brachiosaurs, which all were rather grumpy, it does look cheerful.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Derek.McManus

It must be proud of its shiny scales!

It was happy to be adopted or it sees food. Most likely the food. Lol

Well if it makes kids happy. :D Shleich is at least doing something right.

"3,000 km to the south, the massive comet crashes into Earth. The light from the impact fades in silence. Then the shock waves arrive. Next comes the blast front. Finally a rain of molten rock starts to fall out of the darkening sky - this is the end of the age of the dinosaurs. The Comet struck the Gulf of Mexico with the force of 10 billion Hiroshima bombs. And with the catastrophic climate changes that followed 65% of all life died out. It took millions of years for the earth to recover but when it did the giant dinosaurs were gone - never to return." - WWD

Probably not. In the catalogues their Wildlife, Farm and Comic ( DC, Marvel, Peanuts, Smurfs ) lines are considered for both sexes, while their Dinosaurs and Eldrador ( Dragons and Knights and Griffons, oh my! ) are aimed at boys. The lines aimed at girls are Horse Club and Bayala ( Fairies and even more horses ).

Magazine Version of the Stegosaurus is out.

The comic also promotes the volcano.

And the Stegosaurus seems to run away when it sees humans insead of making use of the thagomizer.

I ordered it when it came out, naively thinking "well it's a newer updated figure, it MUST be a better one".....when it arrived (I'd not seen any online pics of it before I ordered it), I literally laughed & cringed at the same time, & thought "well damn, I'm glad I didn't get rid of my old one!". I think it's dreadful.

Sigmasaurus

I only ones I plan to get are the Stego, Brachiosaurus, and I got the raptor today.

Schleich's magazine in comic book version reminds me in a disturbing way to the comics also the brand of Geoworld. It has a certain resemblance.

I wonder what happened there  ??? those sculpts look like they are from totally different companies, the Kentrosaurus looks actually good, on par with the 2015 one. But that Acrocanthosaurus, doesn't even look like an Acro and the sculpt is lacking the detalis shown on the Kentro.

The reason i posted them is simply because This companey is loweing itself to rebor levels of lunacy(see STS to see what i mean)

They are Upset that people are leaking images of there products.

That Kentrosaurus is made by shleich? ??? It looks pretty good. The body doesn't look as awkward as the old one and the whole thing looks nice overall. Does anyone know how big it is? It may be the best thing I've ever seen from shleich.

Kentro looks good. Acro not so much. I guess Schleich should stick to Ornithischians. Not that they are going to do that.

The kentrosaurus is downright good. What he said if he wanted to Schleich would do all the figures as the kentrosaurus or at worst as the pentaceratops (for me another great figure).  8)

Seeing the kentrosaurus and the acrocanthosaurus being the two made by the same company seem taken out of two different companies seem to belong to two different universes. The acrocanthosaurus sincerely since the first time I saw it has been very difficult to fit it as acrocanthosaurus reminds me of the sadly known "allosaurus iguana" as I call it the first figure of Schleich allosaurus marketed in 2002 mostly in its colors independently of I have better memories of this figure in relation to his Schleich theropod figures than there are now.

But leaving behind all kinds of criticism is demonstrated with Schleich's 2017 kentrosaurus that this factory can and should be among the best on the market. Although it is another kentrosaurus is a figure that can be rubbed in genius to the best companies of toy dinosaurs of the moment. It is a figure suitable for children (its main buyers) and we are collectors. This figure is worth buying, the only thing I ask Schleich Why do not you make all your figures especially theropods in the style of this genius?

I know it is a company focused on the "little ones" but that does not mean that it is also compatible for collectors. The said Schleich is demonstrated with his kentrosaurus that can but in some cases does not want to make the most avant-garde and most finished figures in relation to dinosaurs and prehistoric animals.
