Wow, unique and spectacular. Never seen these before - a remarkable haul.

S @SidB Thanks. Glad I could introduce them to you in this way. There's also threads in the new for 2022 section that might be of interest, particularly the Kaiyodo and Takara Tomy ones.

Thanks for the intro - I'll check these out.

I'm never now going to unsee the broccoli tree!  You're right, it looks very like a stick of broccoli! Love the Steller's Sea Cow - I remember reading about them when I was a small child.  Maybe it was a Kipling story?

You have an excellent haul here.

Fembrogon

What a neat haul of figures! I'm waiting for an order of the 3D set myself, but those Eikoh and Kaiyodo sets look marvelous.
The Tomy figures are rather impressive, too; those invertebrates are real standouts.

Halichoeres

Great stuff! The new Kaiyodos are phenomenal. I ordered some of the same things, but my package appears to have been delivered to the wrong building, so I guess I will have to order them again.

avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres Ah that's most unfortunate to hear that. I take it there's no way to reach out to the post office about that mistake and be reimbursed?

Also thanks to everyone stopping by this thread as of late. Appreciate it.

I initiated an investigation, so we'll see what comes of it. In the meantime, I can enjoy your photos :)

avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres I'm late seeing this, but I'm hoping that works out. Fingers crossed anyways.

Last night's haul, and the ever growing wall of HC figures I have. Still debating on if I want to open them or not since they look so good in the packaging. But I don't want to deal with any one time assemblies with the tails in case I would like to put them back inside their boxes.

You might also spy the Mattel Creations Malcolm set in the left corner. That arrived a few days ago. Now I'm only waiting on the Genydectes to arrive that D @Dino Scream3232 picked up for me, and shipped out today.

All that's left on the wishlist now is (as far as the Mattel Jurassic stuff):
-Dominion Kayla & Pyroraptor set
-Dominion Maisie & Beta set (w/ Lystrosaurus); pre-ordered on EE (edit: canceled on EE, getting it through Amazon instead. Saving nearly $10)
-Dominion Atrociraptor pack (the set with Ghost)
-Dominion Dreadnoughtus
-Dominion Therizinosaurus
-ED Atrociraptor (Tiger)
-HC Malcolm
-HC Velociraptor
-HC Sattler
-HC Dilophosaurus
-Legacy Kitchen Pack
-Legacy Stegosaurus Pack

Some maybes (might go for these early next year, everything above is being prioritized first):
-Dominion Owen & Parasaurolophus
-Dominion Einiosaurus
-Dominion Iguanodon
-Dominion Liopleurodon
-Dominion Megaraptor
-Dominion Moros intrepidus (Wave 3 film color version)
-Dominion Nasutoceratops (baby)
-Dominion Siamosaurus
-Legacy Tembo/Sorna set

avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres That would actually make a really cool display there.

Also the Genydectes has arrived that D @Dino Scream3232 helped me get. I really like this little ceratosaur. Using fragmentary animals like this really gives them some leeway with artistic liberties I think. Though it is clear they based of the sculpt on its relative Ceratosaurus which is a safe plausible thing to do until more evidence might be found. Certainly one of the better ones they've done that were based on fragmentary species. I also rather like the combination of colors here.

Oh, this is making me want to add a lot of stuff to my own order from Brett, but money being as it is, I have to hold off. Still, I'm loving all these, especially those Jurassic Park dioramas. I need that Brachiosaurus.

Halichoeres

That's true, the Genyodectes has a nice palette. I'd have preferred a slightly less Ceratosaurus-ish head, but as you point out they have a lot of leeway in reconstruction.

Alright so my new card came in, and I'm having a hard time deciding what I want to order atm. This card will be exclusively for collecting. I plan to alternate my expenses on it, each month, swapping it with my other one I got earlier this year, to help start building credit. I think I want to limit to no more then $70 to start with, give or take.

As far as Mattel stuff goes, I'm thinking of finally getting the Legacy Kitchen pack, and the Therizinosaurus (if I can catch it on sale still). I'm also thinking of ordering a PNSO figure, but which I can't decide. I've been meaning to review the Dunkleosteus for a while, and the new Deinocheirus (though probably after my surgery next week, and whenever I'm feeling up for it). Which should I pick up you think?

Concavenator

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin as far as which PNSO I'd recommend, depends on your preferences I'd say. In your case, if you were to only choose 1, I would personally go with the Lingwulong. PNSO has released many awesome figures (especially this year) but the Lingwulong strikes me as the most unique. I saw you mention you were interested in one, so now that PNSO released one (and what a gorgeous one!) I'd go with that one, especially with how important of a discovery it actually is, plus the fact that it doesn't seem too likely we will be getting many more figures of it (if any?). If you get it now, the paint app will probably be better than if you decide to leave it for later (though the same could be said for other figures you may be interested in).

Another approach you could take is based on the colour scheme. Out of the PNSO figures you're interested in, you could choose the one with the flashiest colour scheme, in order to prevent the paint app to be downgraded in successive production batchs. So if you leave figures with duller/less complex paintjobs for later, if there's any paint app downgrade, it would be less noticeable. This isn't necessarily a big problem, but it probably is still something to keep in mind. Though with PNSO slowing down the releasing pace (to which now seems to be 1 model/month) this will probably (and hopefully!) become less of a problem over time.

Also, I hope everything goes well with your surgery.

Faelrin

avatar_Concavenator @5aurophaganax Trust me I do plan to get that one eventually, since I wanted a figure of it for years now, but the reason I chose to pick from these two at the moment is because they are cheaper, and I had reviews reserved for them already. I'm also trying to keep the amount I spend on the lower side (like no more then $70 if possible). I also still want to pick up a few Mattel things too.

You do make a good point about the color scheme. In that case it might be wise to go with the Deinocheirus instead since it's at its absolute best right now. It seems like there is probably more interest in that one then the Dunkleosteus anyways. Although the Dunkleosteus has been out for a year now but it might be fine still. The main draw for me on that figure is really the jaw articulation anyways.

There are a lot of other PNSO figures I'm interested in too. The Acrocanthosaurus, Tarbosaurus, Yutyrannus, etc. Thankfully with my lack of interest in most of Mattel's upcoming stuff that should make catching up easier.

I'm voting for PNSO Dunkleosteus because I'd like to read your review of it!

avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres Sorry I ultimately went with the Deinocheirus for now, mostly out of concern on the paint apps. I'm glad you are looking forward to me doing the Dunkleosteus still, even if it will be a little bit off. Granted I probably won't get to reviewing either until after my surgery. But I think I'll probably pick it up in January after I caught up on more Mattel stuff next month. That said I also picked up the Therizinosaurus (and on sale) as planned yesterday for $20.99, which was great. And although I wanted the Legacy Kitchen set as well, the only one I found in store was damaged, so I figured I'd go with the Liopleurodon instead since they had it (and cheaper then online prices). Next month I gotta get that set, and the Stegosaurus one, if not some other things I'm behind on still.

The Lystrosaurus set should arrive either tonight or tomorrow, and I might be able to get a review of that out before I have my surgery on the 11th. That said part of me wants to wait until the new Nothosaurus and Herrerasaurus are out to get a group shot of the various Triassic period figures they've done (as well as the Postosuchus, Shringasaurus, and Tanystropheus I also have), unless that can be added after the fact.

Well the Deinocheirus is also a good choice!

And lucky you with the Lystrosaurus!

avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres Thanks, very lucky in fact, especially with how much it is going for now (though to be fair I haven't checked ebay yet), and nearly sold out everywhere. I'm almost tempted to leave it intact in box, but all the same I want to mess around with it and review it too. I've only been waiting for this since last year, when the animatronic was first revealed, long before it was even announced that it was getting a figure (aside from the Wave 1 mini learned about early on).

I wonder if I should dig out my Kaiyodo Lystrosaurus out of storage as well, and that new Mattel mini I put in there rather hastily earlier this year (and the Shringasaurus too, oops). Not sure I'll have time for that before I have surgery though.

Come to think of it though, I still need to get the Scutosaurus reviewed so maybe I should just focus on that for the meantime. I at least did get a picture of that with the Safari Ltd one, before I packed the latter figure up with the rest of my Safari Ltd figures.
