Welcome to the forum. I agree with your point about spoiler tags, I've been saying that for ages >:D

You have a point about the JP thing also. I'm guilty of it myself even. Many of us have high expectations about what we want from the film. I do agree that we should wait for the film to come out before we form any concrete opinions.

Listen you, you need to understand that this so called d rex is a blimish on the jp franchise, a blimish no amount of make up can cover. If allowed to make it to the screen, do you know what it will do to dinosaurs? No longer will dinosaurs be seen as animals, but as Godzilla type monsters or even dragons. The jp brand will be doomed! Tyrannosaurus needs to be the Dino king! Not Spinosaurus or this Hollywood freak!

I feel your pain, but apparently the corporate of inGen (are they still running JP?) didn't think so :( Kids don't want a real Tyrannosaurus anymore. They want a Godzilla. Or in this case.. A Cuttlesaurus? Oh no wait, that sounds silly, let's call it DIABOLUS.

(But it still sounds.. hm)

I'm willing to bet that T-Rex will still be "the Dino King" by the end of the film, because, you know, weird hybrids don't do very well in nature..

(And thank you for the welcomes Tyrantqueen.. I apologize if I came off a bit brash).

Who dosnt want a tyrannosaurus?
I may not like feathered dinosaurs and stumpy legged Spinosaurs, but I will keep those opinions to myself, I will not start a debate over it, I promise. 😇

You left out Lauren Bacall, perhaps one of the most celebrated Hollywood silver screen leading ladies.....
Authors with varying competence have suggested dinosaurs disappeared because of meteorites...God's will, raids by little green hunters in flying saucers, lack of standing room in Noah's Ark, and palaeoweltschmerz—Glenn Jepsen

Well, I said actors, not actresses.

Nonetheless, may she rest in peace also.

I just now heard about Richard's passing also. The first thing I thought of was we'll never again get to hear him say, "Welcome to Jurassic Park". The franchise has now lost three of its major contributors. First was Stan Winston, then Michael Crichton, and now Richard Attenborough. Does anyone know if he was going to be in Jurassic World? He was 90. And if he's been ailing, probably not is my guess. But it would've been cool if that was his last contribution. Sad. What a great man in so many areas.

When I was on set they had a lot of homages to Lord Richards character.  Although he wont be in the movie, we're going to see some pretty cool things in his name in the movie.

Oh that's wonderful, Yankeetrex. Thank you for that bit of info. I'm glad he'll be a part of this new installment in some way, as he rightfully should be. He was, is and will always be the proprietor of Jurassic Park!

Really hope we see a statue like in the Universal attraction. He deserves it.

I wish he had made it long enough to see it. He had so many hardships to deal with the last few years, hopefully he is at peace now.

and so if the kids want to see robots fighting dinosaurs, too, need to make such a film? have franchise has certain limits, jurassic park themes and beautiful animals out there that shows how animals, though not exact but not as a monster

Look at it this way, we all know it's a genetically engineered monster. So when a T-Rex and a pack of old school Raptors kick it's butt..will you be mortified it was in the film at all or will you be jumping up and down cheering ?

Can you guess what my reaction will be ? ;)

I doubt it, he was in a wheelchair since 2008.

RIP Sir Dicky - Great actor (Brighton Rock, Great Escape and JP!), great director (Gandhi, Cry Freedom, Magic and Chaplin).
