Thanks for the alert Robin, just placed my order. Now to start clearing some space (looks around and scratches head...).

Faelrin

Hope I'll be able to order this in a few weeks here. I'm trying to save up enough for some more Beasts of the Mesozoic things first. Out of curiosity I checked to see how much the total would be with shipping (I'm in Pennsylvania, in the US). It came to be £19.95. I did a conversion with google, and it came to be $25.50. Is that correct? Is there anything else to expect before ordering this (I've never ordered anything overseas before)?

£10.00 strikes me as quite a bargain. I'm ordering.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Looks really good!  I'll probably wait to see more photos before ordering one, though.

Edit: On second thoughts, it's head is pretty cartoony...

Halichoeres

I'd also like to know the exact dimensions, but at £10 (or even £12.50) a pop, they can't possibly be too large.

The Bristol Museum merchandise section of their site has a couple of more pictures up of the model for those still on the fence about ordering this one it does provide more views - still no measurements given. Judging by an earlier image of the prototype resting on the designer's hand it appears to be about 25cm, give or take. (depending on how big his hands are!)

Flaffy

Looks, meh. Especially with all the seams and the lack of detail on the head.
I thought it had a closed mouth for once.

John

The majority of the fine details in the original Pliosaurus carpenteri model for that museum's exhibit seems to have been lost in the 3D printing for the toys. They also seem to have redone the teeth as well (I'm guessing for safety reasons). :-X :-X :-X
Don't you hate it when you legitimately compliment someone's mustache and she gets angry with you?

Looks completely different from the photo that was up a few days ago. Sad, that one had a much better head and no visible seams.

Blade-of-the-Moon

A few days ago? The one pic we had as a teaser didn't show the head. The one before that was a maquette ( which Tone said might be available later as a collector's edition figure/statue. )

Cephalopod

Ink ink ink, cephalopods don't stink... so does their ink. I think.

Hmmm. I could imagine getting One. Do they ship to Germany?

It was inside a bag. We couldn't see the face but we could see the top of the head and it didn't have any big seams. It also stood on its fins instead of lying flat.
