Chaos Effect currently has zero representation in the JP section, so it's a perfect opportunity! The Tyco Pteranodon, Triceratops, Stegosaurus, and Diplodocus also have not been reviewed. Perhaps if they are, it'll be enough Tyco reviews to warrant an actual page for them. :)

Looking forward to reading about the Kentrosaurus and the Dimetrodon!

I'm already forming some ideas in my head for Chaos Effect reviews- sounds like fun!  I'll have to get started on that.  :)

Thanks!  Looks like I've got my work cut out for me, haha.  :))  I think a Tyco page would be great- I was actually looking for one a while back.

Your Carnegie Rex stands and balances on it's own two feet? Neat-o! :)

Yep, I've never had a problem with it falling over!  The unfortunate scuff on the nose is from poor Amazon packaging.  :-\

Paleona

Got the CollectA Diplodocus today <3  I'm really impressed with it, even though it has a very slim neck.  It's surprisingly difficult to photograph well, since it's so tall!  (That and I'm only using a phone camera  ::))

Ha! I'd forgotten about tree stars.

Do you have an amount of treasures  in your collection  ^-^.
[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

Thanks, guys  :)

Halichoeres- I just re-watched Land Before Time a couple days ago.  It's a beautiful film, in terms of art direction and story.  :'(

Here are a couple quick pics of the dinosaurs I actually display.  All of my JP and childhood stuff is stored away, safe for when I want some nostalgia.

I keep my Papo rexes out in my living room, sort of as movie memorabilia (the running one is being supported by a nerf dart, haha):

Not a good photo, but these are my favorites that I keep out for display, next to my desk:

The collection is growing!  :)

The Battat rex is looking chivalrous with that miniature sword (?) >:D

Paleona

lol, yes xD  It's one of those sword-shaped toothpicks you're supposed to put in sandwiches.  He's wielding it like a cane  :))  Works perfectly as a prop!  (and for looking good around the Carnegie lady rex??)

Paleona

My Papo Apatosaurus finally arrived- I had it on special order for some time.  There's a family owned hobby/toy shop in my area, and I like to support them.  Not to mention my dad fixes Lionel trains for the store, so I get a discount.  O:-)

Anyway, I actually really like this model- it really looks heavy, like it's really supporting its weight.  I know the neck is a bit odd, but I like how fluid the pose is, and the feet look great!

Instead of basic shots, here are a couple more interesting angles of it:

It's a fantastic model isn't it? I know it's commonly stated, but I wish it was bigger.

Yes, it is!  Even moreso when you're actually holding it, I think.  It would be pretty cool if it were bigger, but I'm pretty happy with its size!  It still takes up a good length of my shelf. :)

It's been some time since I've been around these forums... warm weather always reignites my love for dinosaurs, though! So here's just some recent gets, and new pictures of some favorites ^-^ (They're all square, because I've taken a liking to Instagram :P)

My old Kenner raptor with Safari's lovely Velociraptor~

Battat Dacentrurus hanging out in my potted palm.

This Sauropelta is still one of my favorites!! <333 Here he is on my crabapple tree. Who knew nodosaurs were capable of climbing?? ;)

Safari's new feathered rex is probably my favorite figure at the moment, though! He's so beautiful.

Hope you've all been well~

Nice photography skills you have there. It would be wonderful to see you write another review or two for the blog if you are able to find the time. ;)

Thanks, suspsy, hope you've been well! Taking photos like this is a nice creative outlet when I don't have the energy to draw, haha.

I'll have lots of time this summer, so maybe I'll dig around for something to review then. On the topic of reviews, I hope someone reviews the new CollectA Styracosaurus soon! They're at the top of my wishlist, and I would love to see more pics of it, and read what other people think. :) (pretty sure it's got great marks all around!)

suspsy

Bokisaurus is planning to write a review the CollectA Styracosaurus, although I have no idea when it will be ready. There are still a number of Tyco and JP figures that need reviews:

Nope that is why they went extinct.  ;)
