avatar_indohyus @indohyus Magnificent review. I sincerely like Salvat's dinosaurs, although the vast majority of them, if not all, are plagiarized, they have their charm and that therizinosaurus is perhaps one of the most precious figures. Without a doubt one of the best therizinosaurus of the 90's. My congratulations.

Thank you very much avatar_Shonisaurus @Shonisaurus ! Is a nice figure, but flawed but nice. The Tanystropheus interests me most, doesn't seem plagiarized.

I agree, very nice review.  A strange thought.  Why do flawed figures sometimes seem better, or perhaps more enjoyable then some practically perfect figuers.

Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Probably some sort of combination of Nostalgia FilterNarm Charm and So Bad it's Good.
Probably Nostalgia.  Thinks that you relate to tend to look better.

avatar_suspsy @suspsy My congratulations and thank you for warning that the spiclypeus is very delicate when it comes to handling or falls, the one who warns is not a traitor. Magnificent figure, it must be more beautiful to have it physically.

I can't wait to own Spiclypeus. So far the only 1/18th scale ones I ow are Styracosaurus, Einiosaurus, KS Monoclonius and Zuniceratops. I can barely see these days so it's getting very difficult for me to write and read stuff. That's why I haven't posted any other reviews.

Why can't you barely see? Are you ill with something?

That's a possibility. I got new glasses last month and within 3 days my left eye (was supposed to be my good eye) just sort of...died. I cannot see anything, so reading and doing research has been very hard. I don't need my glasses to read, either. It's almost like something went in there and never got out. Could also be the cataracts getting worse, but that was fast. :(

suspsy

Sorry to hear all that. I hope you're planning to see an eye specialist soon. It sounds serious.  :-\

T @EmperorDinobot I'm shocked to see this. I hope you can have that looked into soon. Ugh I realize those sound like a bunch of bad puns but not my intention here. I hope it is something that can be resolved hopefully.

Oh no, sorry to hear that. Hope you can see a specialist and have it figured out.

avatar_EmperorDinobot @EmperorDinobot I'm sorry to hear about that  :-\ As avatar_suspsy @suspsy said, I think you should visit a specialist as soon as possible and hopefully your problem will be fixed. I hope you will get better.

Dino Hazard Irritator + Equinoxiodus: http://dinotoyblog.com/2021/06/02/irritator-dino-hazard/

Excellent review! Glad to finally see this one reviewed. Very carefully written and great pics, too.
By the way, avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres , perhaps you didn't know it, but it seems the Irritator 's tail was widened to reflect the discoveries on Spinosaurus' tail from 2020 (which, while speculative, of course, would be reasonable because it was a closer relative to Spinosaurus compared to the Baryonichinae members of the family). That is confirmed in this video:

https://youtu.be/g_1PGHUsbA0

Quite surprisingly, this would make this figure the first one to be revealed that includes this finding, as I believe this figure was announced before the GR Spinosaurus.

Halichoeres

Interesting, thank you. The tail is definitely a bit more paddle-like than what's shown in the diagrams in Aureliano, Ghilardi et al. 2018, where they review most of the Brazilian spinosaurid fragments (https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0195667117305153).

How apropos given the release of the book on the subject of plesiosaur necks.
