Just received my Toyway WWD Tyrannosaurus!
I have to admit, I had doubts about this figure. Accuracy, the blood splotches, size, etc. But when I received it, all those feelings of nostalgia came rushing back. Imagining the mother rex defending her two chicks against the Ankylosaurus. And the male that almost succumbed to the toxic fumes, while looking for a meal.
It's an older figure, with scratches and rub-off, but I have to admit, for $10 on eBay, it was a good purchase. Very solid plastic feel with significant weight in hand, and stands very steadily. And larger than I previously expected.

Well, I got this:

Some Sinclair stickers and a Lego Jurassic World Baby Velociraptor Playpen. I slightly altered the build in order to incorporate some spare parts that came with the set.

Some old books, DVDs and a CD.

Purchase of "Living Monsters of the Past" was inspired by "Vintage Dinosaur Art" on "Love in the Time of Chasmosaurs" showcasing it.
"Dinosaurier. Die Riesen der Vorzeit" is the German version this book. Sadly it seems to have lost some of the Zallinger art.
"Horner und Gorman erzählen von den Dinosauriern" is the German version of "Maia: A Dinosaur Grows Up". Got it mainly for the Doug Henderson art.
"The World of the Dinosaurs: Animals and Landscapes to Make Yourself" is one of those books that become a diorama upon popping out things. ( Not a pop-up book ). Always looking for one that might be an useful background for display purposes...
I got "Der Traum vom Fliegen - Flugsaurier" out of curiosity. Could neither find a picture nor info. Book itself if a junky children's book, with main character Michael Green always being named by full name, even by his mother,  but it contains a Pteranodon sternberi/Geosternberiga model to cut out, color and assemble, meaning it was not a total waste.
"When Dinosaurs Ruled" is a documentary series. While it got a release in Germany, it turned out one episode was missing. So when I saw this box for less than 2 Euros, I had to buy it.
"Monster Movie Music Album" contains Music from several movies with Dinosaurs, including various Godzilla ones, King Kong, the Hammer movies, Land before Time etc.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Wow, avatar_Nimravus @Nimravus the extant figures are really nice, especially that leopard seal!

avatar_CityRaptor @CityRaptor: a very nice haul.  I've always rather fancied some Sinclair material but never made a start on it!

To many dinosaurs from the past few months I spent absent to really go over in detail (I'm not even sure I can remember whether quite a few things arrived before or after), so here are some silly Jurassic World figure highlights from the past few months instead:

I really like the combination of dinosaurs and anime here!

Found these guys at a flea market at a second hand shop in Münster on Saturday:

Plus,  yesterday I bought Safari Oviraptor on nest and Inpro Allosaurus on eBay,  pictures as soon aß they are here.

They arrived,  Safari Oviraptor on nest and Inpro Allosaurus. The Allosaurus seems to be happy to meet the Oviraptor and to be part of my collection . With its 46 (!) years it is six years older than me!

The Oviraptor is beautiful, and the Allosaurus is hilarious and I love him.

Just picked up these beauties from my local Dinosaur Farm!

Wild Safari Kronosaurus
CollectA Kronosaurus

My GOD do these pair together well. My first marine reptiles and both Kronosaurus.
VERY similar scale and level of detail. Love them both!

DragonRider02

Where can I get that Nesting Oviraptor? I've been looking on Ebay but there are only bootlegs...

My collection has been ridiculously growing over the past week!

New Giganotosaurus carolinii's just arrived this past weekend.

Almost picked up the 2017 Safari one too, but I realized that I should wait.

Also got two Kronosaurus queenslandicus yesterday!
My local place had the CollectA version and I've been eyeing the Safari for awhile.

What "local place" has CollectA products? Is it a franchise or just a solo shop?

Those figures do pair nicely.

I especially like that shot of the Gigas.  They make quite the pair.  Large formidable female and small(er) colorful male.. heh. (wonders if that 90's "idea" of female theropods being more robust than males still holds)

It's a solo shop called "The Dinosaur Farm" out in South Pasadena. I really want to recruit the owner to be on this website. I feel like he'll enjoy it.
I make a trip out there almost every week because it always seems like they get a shipment every single week.
This week they obtained a TON of the new and 2017 Safari, but they seemed to also have gotten a shipment of CollectA as well, explaining this Kronosaurus.
I'm going to make an appreciation post for their shop and my specific hauls from my visits.

avatar_mgaguilar @mgaguilar Nice haul. I really do like both of those Kronosaurus figures. The Giganotosaurus pair looks great too. I do prefer the sculpt more on the Vitae one, but I think I kind of prefer the color scheme on the Carnegie one a little more. I know Safari's has a good sculpt too, even if I'm not fully keen on the striping it has. If Papo were to ever make one I wonder how that would fare among all the choices for this genus.

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin Thanks! I have the same feelings as you, although if Vitae kept their QC on paint application, it might be a different story. Nonetheless, the Carnegie paint aesthetic is gorgeous.
Safari's artistic licensure of the paint is one I am unsure of for their 2017 release. It seems like it's a simple two-paint (periwinkle/dark brown) application, and the simplicity upsets me.
The sculpt is gorgeous though, so I'll be picking it up soon either way. Gotta wait for the next paycheck.  ;)
I think I will take the attitude of our resident Giganotosaurus hype-man (S @Syndicate Bias) and say that Papo releasing a Giganotosaurus can only be countered by one released by PNSO.
I know it will be amazing. Well, unless of course, they choose their "other" sculptor to get the job done. Then all bets are off.

PhilSauria

I would love to see the Vitae Giganotosaurus on my shelf but unless the price drops I really can't afford it at the moment! Kinda given up on Papo releasing one but also feel that if they do it will be ruined (for me) by coming out in one of those strange poses that they put some of their figures in. I feel more confident about the PNSO figure finally going retail - fingers crossed for a reasonable price there.

avatar_PhilSauria @PhilSauria It's not too bad if you order it from that one German online retailer. (with the pony at the top).
I think I paid around $82 USD after all is said and done. Flat-rate shipping so you could bundle a bunch of items.

I hope Papo realizes that their flagship Theropods do sell better in neutral poses. Though it is nice to have some characteristic poses that makes the figure unique.
I feel like they try to capture the majesty of something like the PNSO Chungkingosaurus, but end of making too many unnatural sculpts in the process.
Really looking forward to PNSO's releases, just in time for the holidays.  >:D

They are not that difficult to find.

On eBay US there are a few originals :
