Crackington

avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres I have the Airfix Pteranodon and can take a snap of it, if that helps.

Halichoeres

avatar_Crackington @Crackington sure, if you have the time and inclination!

If anyone else has good images they're willing to share of the other kits, please do let me know. I always prefer to include photos when I add a new line to the database.

For reference, this is what I know of the Airfix models:

3800 Triceratops
3801 Tyrannosaurus
3802 Ankylosaurus
3803 Stegosaurus
3804 Corythosaurus
3805 Dimetrodon
3806 Pteranodon with coelacanth
4800 Brontosaurus

There were apparently some multi-packs containing combinations of these, but I don't think those are worth adding separate entries for.

New photos added for Dinosaur King figures, thanks to avatar_Eocarcharia @Eocarcharia!

Also added the Dino Dana figures from Safari. I'm surprised only one person wants the yellow rex. I'm obviously still on my T. rex boycott, but it's a striking figure!

I just want to say I appreciate all the work that y'all put into this site. It's nice to be able to go there on a whim and use a quick sort to find all the stuff that's been released in the last year or so.

I think the GR Dicraeosaurus and Mesozoic Life Spinosaurus could be added. Both are expected to be released soon.

SRF

PNSO's female Tyrannosaurus is now available on Amazon, so it can also be  added in the database now.

Also I just want to say that I really appreciate the platform.
But today, I'm just being father

Faelrin

Alright I added both the GR Toys Dicraeosaurus, Mesozoic Life Spinosaurus (no company image for now), and the new PNSO Tyrannosaurus Andrea.

avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin Thanks! Although the release of the Mesozoic Life Spinosaurus has yet to be confirmed. It depends on whether or not they get a minimum quantity of preorders, so if they don't meet that quantity, apparently the project will be cancelled and the figure won't get made.

Faelrin

I saw that. Granted there are other canceled figures on the DTC site as well, such as many of Rebor's, etc. It could either be removed or serve as a what could have been, perhaps. Hopefully it succeeds though.

Dinoguy2

Hi everyone, thanks for continuing to work on this very useful site! One thing I recently noticed - all of the 1988-marked Carnegie dinosaurs are marked as being released 1989. From what I have seen, the first 10 actually did come out in 1988. I suspect the rest did too (probably later in the year) but haven't been able to find proof. But I've heard from people who definitely bought the whole first "wave" in '88.

This would apply to numbers 400-01 thru 409-01.

Could someone add the new PNSO Mamenchisaurus, please?

Faelrin

Has it gone up for pre-order or sale somewhere yet (such as Amazon, etc)? I'll add it when it does, as it usually gives me access to info I need to add it (and an image at least).

Nope...as far as I know

Fembrogon

I was just browsing the Marx section and noticed a discrepancy for Triceratops: only the revised version "B" is listed, and the date and phot appear to correlate to the original release, rather than the revised one.

Concavenator

avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector I have noticed that your Wild Past Majungasaurus is stated for a 2020 release on the site. Do you know when will it finally be released?

Also, could someone modify that?

Crackington

Hi avatar_Fembrogon @Fembrogon, are you sure you haven't just scrolled past the original Marx Triceratops photo? There are two entries for the model, original and revised molds.

I provided the photos a while ago, though not totally sure if they are the correct models for the entries. Marx models are a bit hard to come by in the UK and require some patience in collecting. I'm not always sure if the ones I have are the correct versions, though they seemed to fit the Mike Fredericks and Randy Knol descriptions and photos in the Dinosaur Collectibles book and the Dinosaur Collector website respectively.

avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector - if they turn out to be incorrect, would it be possible to relocate the photos to the correct figure, possibly as extra photos if they already have one? The website is the only place I have these photos now...

Fembrogon

Hmmm, interesting; I do see the listing now, so I'm not sure why I didn't see it before. Maybe there was a glitch on my end. All good!  ;D

Crackington

That's good to hear!

I sometimes miss things on the site too, especially when using my phone to browse.
