If it's not a fanpage, then it's a very weird arrangement, considering that Eofauna announces figure-related news on their main FB page too.

avatar_Concavenator @Concavenator take for granted that the next prehistoric animal of Eofauna is the atlasaurus, do you have news of the prototype made by the company? I would like to see it, it is a very rare sauropod, almost as rare as the amargasaurus and agustinia and I sincerely celebrate that Eofauna has taken that courageous step risking in making a prehistoric animal obscure dinosaur and the most striking herbivore and sauropod.

avatar_Shonisaurus @Shonisaurus of course I don't have images of the prototype ;D Heck, we don't even know if their next figure is an Atlasaurus, it's just an educated guess at this point.

I see many of you are praising Eofauna for a figure that hasn't been shown/revealed ( or even doesn't exist).Honestly, it would be funny if their next figure wasn't an Atlasaurus after all this  :P.

I asked them last week and they told me that they would be announcing further during the coming weeks. So this summer we may have the news.A little patience guys. We're in the year with the biggest number of amazing new figures being released. It's easier to wait that way.
I'm a very slow collector, so I'm personally not concerned by a lower number of releases, I'd much rather have quality over quantity.

Anyways, if their next figure is an Atlasaurus, I would be glad. It's not a dinosaur that really drew my attention, but it's an interesting species, and (afaik) , one that has never been done so far.

EDIT- I think a Triceratops from them is also likey. They created a 3D version a while ago, and since the Trike also appears in that magazine, I don't think it's out of the question.I personally think it'll be either Atlasaurus or Triceratops.Anyways, I'm personally hoping for it to be a dinosaur. Those elephants are amazing, but I'm interested mainly in dinosaurs, and sometimes pterosaurs and marine reptiles.

Eofauna has posted a teaser of their next figure on Facebook:

It has scales. It looks to be a sauropod, so it's very likely Atlasaurus

The colouration does definitely match the parts of the magazine Atlasaurus that aren't anatomy diagrams  :)

Shonisaurus

An atlasaurus by Eofauna would be good news. I sincerely like sauropods with oddities such as amargasaurus, agustinia and in this case atlasaurus than common sauropods such as diplodocus, apatosaurus or brachiosaurus or cetiosaurus.

The atlasaurus looks out of the ordinary. What stands out are its front legs so well sculpted and so thin that it contrasts with the thicker hind legs. It is identical to the one shown by Eofauna. The colors of this sauropod are classic and elegant. A wonder of dinosaur. Great pictures, thanks for sharing Dan. It is a figure from my honest point of view of forced purchase.

acro-man

This is an exceptionally beautiful sauropod!
The one sauropod the PVC collectors have been waiting for!
Let's pray their final product looks as good as this one, in terms of paint.

  Yes, in terms of paint.
On the other hand I'd prefer if the final product wouldn't have its tail going straight to the ground.

...when one figure combines the heft of a pachyderm and the grace of a giraffe.

I did say I won't do battle with customs this year, but this figure is making me reconsider that declaration.

Shonisaurus

Sincerely I will buy the figure of Eofauna atlasaurus from urzeitshop.de or everythingdinosaur and I will have no problems but I recognize that the customs service tax rates are abusive in general terms and what causes me the most anxiety is how they retain the figures of prehistoric animals in My case, or that one committed a criminal activity is sometimes frustrating and outrageous.

Judging by what we can see so far I'd have to agree with the Deinotherium guess. Kinda hoped that we'd see another Dinosaur by I'm not one to knock back a good prehistoric mammal and as this is coming from Eofauna it certainly will be good, to say the least.

I'll pretty much order anything from this company and PNSO - my two top brands these days!

Between a deinotherium and a triceratops by Eofauna I prefer that prehistoric elephant for a simple reason although it is represented in the toy market and / or collecting sincerely the three that I have are that of Bullyland, Mojo and Collecta I think that of Eofauna will exceed These three brands in relation to deinotherium Eofauna palaeoloxodon antiquus is an example. I sincerely like to make dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals alike.

ItsTwentyBelow

Wow, well I will have to begin my Eofauna collection with that 1:40 Atlasaurus. Wonderful.

I agree, the next figure is probably Deinotherium judging by that slice.

postsaurischian

MPV is offering the Atlasaurus for pre-order. It's the same price as the Giganotosaurus.

Another slice of the second figure:

Although I would have preffered a Paracetatherium, I think it is yet another large mammoth species.

The final reveal should be on Monday.
