There are a lot of T. rexes out there, but let's face it, it was awesome and even people who don't really like dinosaurs love it ;) Nonetheless, I'm really pleased that Eofauna chose a different genus for their first foray into plastic dinosaurs, and state as much thus...

That the Giganotosaurus came out so well is why I wouldn't mind seeing their take on even the most common species.

I couldn't help but notice the pterosaur on the card that comes with the model.Could that be the cgi design for something coming up I wonder?

Minmiminime, that was a fantastic and informative review, thank you!

As to the other discussion, obviously EoFauna should do what they want. I'm just saying that I'd buy almost any Mesozoic or Paleozoic animal from them, because, yes, their figures are beautiful, but I have no interest in another Ty***nosaurus. Anyway, it was fun to learn just now that I am not a true collector, evidently!
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

This is something a fake collector would say!

I am not interested in a new tyrannosaurus I prefer a rather complete and obscure theropod in the toy market, since Papo made a gorgosaurus it would be interesting for Eofauna to make a bistahieversor, albertosaurus or daspletosaurus for three examples.

Chances are,the new Giganotosaurus is intended to be the one that fills in the giant meat eater role for this line instead of the usual T. rex.Since they tend to go for the biggest species, maybe we will end up seeing a giant hadrosaur along the lines of Edmontosaurus annectens or Shantungosaurus giganteus.

Regardless of whether Eofauna makes a T. rex, a Smok, a Spiclypeus, a Ledumahadi, a Zuul, or some other Mesozoic beast for their fourth product, I think there's one thing everyone here can agree upon: it will be a splendid product.

I know we're still riding the Giganotosaurus wave, but I'm kinda wishing Eofauna'd work their pachyderm magic on one of the giant hadrosaurs, if not a sauropod.

Blade-of-the-Moon

I wouldn't mind  a hadrosaur or sauropod myself.

PhilSauria

Oh yes, can I change my order please, to 'bring on the Sauropod'!

FACT! ;D And thank you for your support, everyone! avatar_John @John that's an interesting theory, ooh a pterosaur by them would be something quite special, too! I'm going to need another cabinet, or a dedicated dinosaur room with all the awesome new stuff that's coming out this year. Our house is pretty much Marie Kondo'd anyway, but the dinosaurs and books are very much exempt 😈

PhilSauria

Had to look up Marie Kondo to understand the reference so now I get it. I try to be organized but, you know - life!
Really been enjoying your videos and love your accent - I was a big fan of the series Spender back in the day starring actor / singer Jimmy Nail (now that's one you may have to look up).

Can't wait to get my hands on this figure, which I am told by the folks at local supplier Mini Zoo will be available at the end of the month. I'll be firing off an order just as soon as it is, your videos making me even more intent on seeing this one on my shelves!

Minmiminime

😹😹😹 ah, avatar_PhilSauria @PhilSauria you've made my day! I actually almost physically bumped into Jimmy Nail in a local supermarket once, also had a similar experience with Ross Noble (albeit in a different local supermarket) 😁 I'm delighted at the response I'm getting to my videos, and I'm proud to be able to show off a figure as great as this! I hope yours arrives soon 😊

We only watch them because you have a sexy voice, nice hands, nice house, nice cat, the dinosaurs come second  :P

Minmiminime

Ahahahaha, avatar_BRONSON @BRONSON  a view is a view is a view 😉😁 Thanks, I think..! 😹😘 I wonder when their new figures will begin to be revealed. The turnaround for the Giga seemed pretty quick

I agree with avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres et al regarding T. rex. That would be a very boring figure to me. And I don't to here anything about "new studies on Daspletosaurus means everyone has to make a new T. rex figure" - I'd rather they just made Daspletosaurus, or any other Tyrannosaurid. I also wouldn't be interested in a C. megalodon.

Since several people have mentioned some beautiful Hadrosaurs, I thought I'd share something. It's only a rumour really, but in response to my question about Hadrosaurs on facebook, someone who works for Eofauna asked me what are my thoughts about Magnapaulia. I think this would be a very interesting choice.
Megalosaurus, Iguanodon, Archaeopteryx, Cetiosaurus, Compsognathus, Hadrosaurus, Brontosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Albertosaurus, Herrerasaurus, Stenonychosaurus, Deinonychus, Maiasaura, Carnotaurus, Baryonyx, Argentinosaurus, Sinosauropteryx, Microraptor, Citipati, Mei, Tianyulong, Kulindadromeus, Zhenyuanlong, Yutyrannus, Borealopelta, Caihong

Link? I'd die for magnapaulia.
