Hey guys, to go along with my new Carnegie Collection web site I decided to review and compare some of the figures in my collection on YouTube. First up is my original Carnegie model, the first run Pteranodon. Let me know what you think! Still getting the hang of this whole video thing.

I remember that I criticized in the past (years ago) this pioneer figure of Carnegie pteranodon and that I was quite unfair to her since we have to take into account the time when it was made and what is worse than a small child I regretted saying that we were evil ones who criticized that figure, made me feel an unfair person. All prehistoric animals in this toy case have a value for an incomparable child and most importantly even affective considering who gave it to him and how he acquired it. So sorry.

Honestly, it is a very worthy figure for the time it was made and considering that the materials of that pteranodon do not have the same malleability as its successors in the toy market (PVC).

I think the criticism is fair to an extent, especially for the newer versions. I remember looking at this figure in the store many years ago and thinking it really looked quite bad. I couldn't remember why I thought it was so cool. Turned out I just had the good version! Some of the 1990s variants look really terrible.

I always say yea to trunks. Especially on sauropods.

I think I have the chocolate brown version of that Pteranodon somewhere... Maybe they were more common in Europe?

Could be. I don't know what the story is with that one. It's not even featured in any of the catalogs I have alongside the other repaints and I'm not sure if it even has a unique model number.

Is this the image you speak of

"Hey Kids, Dont do Drugs"

Hah, yeah that one is definitely pretty bad, but believe it or not I've seen much worse... Like, pink covering the majority of the face.

This one on my site is pretty horrendous
