That T.rex has my attention. Even though I still love her, I recently been thinking of replacing my Thrash' N throw T.rex. Her action features are not as smooth as they were as well as other minor issues that are arising, and I don't know why since it is not like I touch her every day. While I like the look of the Bite and fight the action features suck for me, and thats what it's stopping me from getting it.

This new rex looks like it will have similar features to the TnT plus a more accurate color scheme like the Bite and fight. So it may actually be the "ultimate" T.rex like it's name says.

I love the Colossal figures, they are popular and sell, my niece and nephew love them.  An Indominus is def going to them next year, my niece saw the current one at Target and said " The white one is bad, she kills for sport " I was so proud. lol

I love large sauropods too, but they have to do what sells to get us things that may not as well...I  bet we at least get an Apatosaurus eventually though.

I heard it mentioned the new Rex and Carno might be part of the Camp Cretaceous line, it being a Netflix show would they be on a French site?

Blade-of-the-Moon

So I'm mixing a couple brands...

Granted the Safari Deinonychus is too big for this but I feel like I can fudge it as an accurate JP Raptor . I mean both seem to like shiny things..

Blade-of-the-Moon

Something interesting, seems Legacy may not be entirely dead. Someone found a mask of a Lost World Raptor recently.

I think what interests me more is that new artwork of the tiger raptors from TLW. It's clearly just a retouch of that artwork of Blue, but I think this is the first time this version has been used? I wonder if this will just be on Mattel's stuff or more going forward?

Well it matches the mask too.  Hopefully it means more Legacy items coming soon.

Some in package pics of the Edmontosaurus and Minmi repaint have shown up on JPToys as of late. Figured I'd share them here in case folks haven't seen them yet and would be interested.

The Minmi has a nice Borealopelta color scheme vibe. Looking forward to both these. Hope they do more Hadrosaurs in the future.

Blade-of-the-Moon

I have a couple Edmontos on preorder.  The Minmi now matches the Sauropelta..that's a lot of red..

I don't know, to me this Minmi repaint looks incredibly cheap and lazy because...it isn't even really a repaint. It's just molded in one shade of blood red plastic. It isn't counter-shaded on the underside at all like Borealopelta would have been. I think for some reason it has even less color variation than the lime green version of this figure. There's only a little bit of dark wash around the eyes.

EmperorDinobot

I kinda like the Minmi. But it is a repaint. Maybe it looks better in person.

Back when I was collecting Transformers, I remember hearing that toy companies tried not to release figures in similar colors at the same time. I guess it would make it easier for casual buyers to differentiate them. So, I find it odd that Mattel decided to release this Minmi so close to the very similar looking Sauropelta.

Indeed, this was probably part of the reason why Hastak turned Devastator and Predaking into box sets (because all their members share a uniform color scheme), and why the Power of the Primes Dinobots were split into two waves.

On another note, man the Edmontosaurus IS growing on me!

Straight up repaint? Pass.   There are about 20 of the old paint style ones at my local walmart now for 11.00 each.

Dinoxels

Eh, doesn't look that great. I feel like without the yellow this would look decent.
Most (if not all) Rebor figures are mid

It's on sale now so a better time to do so.

tanystropheus

Am I the only person here that absolutely love love the color scheme on the Cryolophosaurus?. The yellows really pop and the figure looks genuinely refreshing! I don't know how it went from "I'll pass" (when I saw the promotional) to my most anticipated 2020 theropod  :o

Battle Damage Albertosaurus, from collect jurassic:

They've clearly recycled the first color scheme of the Protoceratops for this figure, although I think that it suits better on this new Albertosaurus. I have to say that I like it and that I'm tempted by it!

Bigger than a camarasaurus,
and with a bite more stronger that the T-Rex bite,
Ticamasaurus is certainly the king of the Jurassic period.

With Balaur feet, dromaeosaurus bite, microraptor wings, and a terrible poison, the Deinoraptor Dromaeonychus is a lethal enemy for the most ferocious hybrid too.
