I'm finally done with this thread.

I guess I have to apologize for that one because I was the one who compared the Giga to a Porsche.

Let's get back to dinosaurs that aren't Giganotosaurus or cars... I wish more companies would give their hadrosaurs camouflage colors. Okapi stripes are nice but Papo put a whole tiger onto their old Parasaurolophus and that elevated the figure a lot, imo.

Shonisaurus

What I wonder when will the Papo 2020 news be available? I imagine that it will be due to the epidemic situation that the delivery of novelties to online stores has been postponed until June, but regardless of this, Papo has been delaying the commercialization of novelties of dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals for several years until September and in my store until the end of the year. Papo is excessive I do not say this year but for previous years.

Some in-hand photos of the Papo Chilesaurus:

For some reason, it reminds me of the Pirates of dark water monkey bird:

I like it regardless, along with it's fantasy allure.

Yet another decent Papo sculpt ruined by a horrendous pose...
What an absolute waste.

I don't think it's so bad, honestly. I'll have to see a review before I decide if I get it or not.

Now I only want it more. I hadn't even made that connection but it does indeed look a bit like it.
I am pleased to see the legs are splayed out like that. This way it'll be easier to saw them off and put them back on without destroying much of the nice sculpt work ;)

Haha, i often have the exact same thoughts on Figures. "Hm this is a good overall sculpt. Nice to modify."

PrimevalRaptor

I'm still a bit torn on the pose cause of the pronated wrist and all (not that much cause it looked derpy cause I mean...animals tend to do that) and while I would have liked a more displayable one for this guy, the sculpt is still really nice.
Definitely the better one of the 2020 releases in that regard.

Shonisaurus

Honestly I think the chilesaurus is a very good figure and that this differs from the prototype but I still like it and it is perhaps the best dinosaur made this year by Papo, perhaps the stygimoloch can personally surprise me pleasantly. A very nice figure and what I see that you can see even the details of the teeth of that herbivorous theropod.

Summing up on my part I like it, the chilesaurus compared to the tyrannosaurus at rest of Papo deserves to be taken into account in my collection. The image of the chilesaurus figure on the human hand is a touching figure.

By the way, Papo's megaloceros is available on eBay I pass the link,

https://www.ebay.es/itm/Papo-55080-Megaloceros/133415554373?hash=item1f102fcd45:g:5C4AAOSwTzdexToF

Same thing with Papo 2020's repainted feathered velociraptor

And Papo 2020's parasaurolophus (repainted)

Papo's giganotosaurus is now available on eBay:

https://www.ebay.es/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313.TR11.TRC1.A0.H0.Xgiganotosaurus+papo.TRS0&_nkw=giganotosaurus+papo&_sacat=0

Papo's chilesaurus on Ebay:

https://www.ebay.es/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=m570.l1313&_nkw=chilesaurus+papo&_sacat=0

Except for the stygimoloch, the rest are surprisingly already available on Ebay.

Note: prices are too high I honestly do not recommend buying these figures until they are in a physical store or online.

triceratops83

A lot of Papo's new releases are trickling down Ebay in dribs and drabs, even Minizoo's got some of the non-dinosaur range - which is still promising as Papo usually takes most of the year to arrive in Australia.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Shonisaurus

There is less left for the novelties of dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals (megaloceros) to arrive in physical stores and online.

Carnoking

I pre-ordered both the giga and the chilesaurus on Amazon a while back, with the promised delivery date being the 16th of June. Well see if it happens but I have my doubts.

Kapitaenosavrvs

I am so exited to see Videos and Pictures of the Giga. It is so polarizing, that i kind of want to hold it in my Hands aswell.

Over9K

With the morning mist covering his scent, he hunts...

Since the 2019 thread was closed, I'll pop these here. I was messing around a bit in front of my second monitor...

Any idea on Papo's paint variations on older figures for 2020? There usually seems to be a few...

Wouldn't it be nice.

I don't see your Carnoking image.

Carnoking

Son of a gun. I'm using google photos which seems to only work half the time. The image is of my amazon tracking for the Papo Giganotosaurus and Chilesaurus which is promising me delivery by Tuesday, which.... yeah, doesn't seem likely.
