So, after the 2020 thread started becoming a Hopes and Dreams thread of its own, I figured I'd make a proper thread.

I love CollectA's Non-Dinosaur models the most, so here's my want list (I did steal quite a few ideas from those aforementioned posts):

Jaekelopterus
Desmatosuchus
Posotsuchus
Inostrancevia
Scutosaurus
Rutiodon
1:1 Anurognathus
Repenomamus
Paraceratherium
Megatherium
Brotornis
Megaloceros
Platyobelodon

Oh, and some Non-Avian Dinosaurs:
Plateosuarus
Cryolophosaurus (preferably feathered)
1:6 Velociraptor

Most of these were from my post in the 2020 thread, but I've added a few more (some of these may overlap with the above, which I agree with):

By period:

Cambrian:
-Anomalocaris (or Peytoia)

Silurian:
-Cooksonia (yeah I think a figure of some of the earliest vascular land plants would be cool to have)
-Eurypterus
-Pterygotus

Devonian:
-Hippertopterus
-Hynerpeton
-Hyneria
-Ichthyostega
-Jaekelopterus
-Tiktaalik
In addition I'd like to see a figure of some of the early tree's from that period, like the fossil ones on display at the museum in Gilboa, NY (which I have a thread with loads of images here: http://dinotoyblog.com/forum/index.php?topic=7989.0 ). Really could use some Paleozoic plants and trees in addition to the Mesozoic stuff they've made.

Carboniferous:
-Arthropleura
-Meganeura
-Tullimonstrum (aka Tully Monster)
Also prime pickings for Paleozoic plants.

Permian:
-Diplocaulus
-Eryops
-Moschops
-Prionosuchus
-Scutosaurus
Any gorgonopsid (though Inostrancevia is fine too), that all have good remains but relatively few figures (if any).

Triassic:
-Desmatosuchus
-Eoraptor
-Herrerasaurus (if not the newly discovered Gnathovorax)
-Marasuchus
-Mussaurus
-Placerias

Jurassic:
-Chungkingosaurus
-Huayangosaurus (I've finally gotten to start playing Jurassic World Evolution, and I'm starting to love this stegosaurid because of it)
-Yi qi

Cretaceous:
-Beelzebuffo
-Dakotaraptor
-Koolasuchus
-Muttaburrasaurus
-Shuuvia
-Zhenyuanlong

Paleogene:
-Ambulocetus
-Eohippus
-Gastornis
-Hyaenodon (I know there's plenty of decent takes of this one, but it is surprisingly missing from their Cenozoic assortment)

Neogene:
-Phorusrachos
-Platybelodon
-Thylacosmilus
-Titanis

Quaternary:
-Arctodus
-Australopithecus
-Glyptodon
-Megalania
-Megaloceros
-Megatherium
-Macruchenia

Figures they could remake (from earliest to recent, in terms of when they lived):

Triassic:
-Plateosaurus

Cretaceous:
-Edmontonia
-Hatzegopteryx
-Lambeosaurus
-Majungasaurus
-Ouranosaurus
-Olorotitan
-Tsintaosaurus

Paleogene:
-Paraceratherium

Quaternary:
-Neanderthal

I hope they will continue to make 1/6 scale animals from the Djadotcha Formation (velociraptor and oviraptor or less remembered species: Byronosaurus, Khaan, Kol, Almas)  to go along with the protoceratops.

Stuckasaurus (Dino Dad Reviews)

Alright, let's do this! Here's what I'm hoping for.

Roughly 1:40 scale figures (not necessarily for what they refer to as their "1:40" line)
Helicoprion
Jaekelopterus
Prionosuchus
One of the giant quadrupedal "prosauropods"
- Lessemsaurus
- Ingentia
- Ledumahadi mafube ("giant thunderclap at dawn")
Scelidosaurus
an updated Camptosaurus
Mamenchisaurus
Lurdusaurus
Ouranosaurus
Lambeosaurus
Centrosaurus
Koolasuchus
Dakotaraptor
I'd love for Collecta to revisit the dino "families" idea for small bodied animals like they did with their Hypsilophodon and Koreaceratops models, but in lieu of that, I suggest some sort of minis set instead.

Mini Tube Sets (these usually have 12 figures, right?)
Small Bodied Dinosaurs (or "Dwarf Dinosaurs", if that's a more marketable, if maybe misleading, name)
- Coelophysis
- Scutellosaurus
- Ornitholestes
- Dryosaurus (with speculative Greg Paul-style mowhawk?)
- Gargoyleosaurus
- Elaphrosaurus
- Guanlong
- Zalmoxes
- Balaur bondoc
- Hungarosaurus (a nodosaur doing its best impression of a brachiosaur)
- Falcarius
- Leptoceratops

Mini Pterosaurs
- small versions of pterosaurs Collecta makes already, with others as well, including rhamphorynchids

After how nice their Invertebrates are for 2020, I really want to see some sort of Eurypterid in the future.

I missed the tube part, so when I read "Dwarf Dinosaurs" I immediately thought of Europasaurus. Which I think could work even in their standard line,  since that Bullyland one is...yeesh...

But for a tube figure, I'd love a Liaoningosaurus. I think that'd be a very cute little figure.

I really like this idea.  Though I think Oviraptor and Kol are too incomplete to be worth doing.  Shuvuuia and Saurornithoides are others from the Djadochta Formation that are better understood.  Byronosaurus would be a great choice, it's very interesting!  Additionally, CollectA's prehistoric line is lacking in dromaeosaurids, troodontids and oviraptorosaurs.

I really like the idea of a pterosaur tube too!  That could allow people to have small versions of CollectA's huge pterosaur figures which are too big for some people.  And I'd be very happy to see rhamphorhyncids included.

As I expressed hope for the reveal of a pterosaur tube in the previous Hopes and Dreams thread, I'm very happy to see that at least three others here feel the same  :)

In response to Sim specifically: the text I've highlighted in bold easily the main reason why a pterosaur tube is my most wanted tube from CollectA; it's one of the few possible tubes where I wouldn't mind seeing downsized versions of already existing figures (in this case the Supreme line pterosaurs).

AcroSauroTaurus

Well, with CollectA anything is possible...

Any ceratopsian
Any thyreophoran

I am the Dinosaur King!

Stuckasaurus (Dino Dad Reviews)

Glad to see so many others want Pterosaur Minis!
Speaking of minis, that reminds me, the mini Leedichthys and Archelon need their standard/deluxe-sized counterparts already! Get on it, Collecta! And while we're at it a nice hefty Shonisaurus/Shastasaurus certainly wouldn't go amiss, either!

S @Szajmin great choices. CollectA's Non-Dinosaurs are my favorite, and I would buy all of these. Especially Ambulocetus, cuz we need more prehistoric whales.

suspsy

Given that CollectA is releasing a centipede figure next year, an Arthropleura wouldn't be such a long shot.

I'll add my voice to those who'd like another Paraceratherium. Their old one (which I have) was only so-so. I'd like a more accurately proportioned one and it doesn't have to be in their 1/20 scale (more or less) range for the mammals that they typically make, but could be in the 1/40, like the old one.  or better, 1/35. I'd think that the absolute size alone would make the 1/20 option unrealistic for CollectA. The 1/35-1/40 would match up well with the Eofauna mammals and most of Safari's ones.

I second this, and I also like S @Szajmin's choices, particularly the Desmostylians and the hoofed mammals! Such interesting antlers and horns!

Szajmin

Oh, as for the antlers, now I remembered that 2 (?) years ago collecta do quite nice figures of Père David's Dee, so maybe next year they could do some prehistoric deers other than M. giganteus

triceratops83

Had a dream the other night where I bought a Collecta Marshosaurus. Actually seems like a good idea for Collecta.

Otherwise I'm sticking to my hopes of more trees - a large conifer of some sort and a tree fern in the same scale as their cycads and Williamsonia.
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.
