Yes thanks for clarifying O @Oammararak and you put my mind at rest that it's Ok for people to make suggestions now, so thanks to avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy  for doing so much research!

I agree with Sean and Faelrin that's it's very interesting to hear about the process for making them. I'm also very impressed that you sculpted them all on top of everything else - you are clearly very talented!

avatar_SBell @SBell My work It is wire cutting mold to press and shape metal plate metal sheet. I don't know what is it call.
This is a sample of my work. It is very dirty and dangerous air pollution.
Spoiler

I can not make plastic injection mold for this project. It is too much cost and I don't have permission to do it. It have 2 way to make that in my family factory.
1) Make a workpiece master and transform it to the Copper and use EDM machine to sparking it to the mold. (A lot of mold needs to hire an Injection mold factory to make it. This will be good when mold can not use. These factory will fix it for us.)
2) CNC engraving the mold.
It has many ways to make injection mold.
Sample-1) Use 3D print to print core mold. It is cheap but you can make low number of workpieces. (The quality for now is can not make miniatures)
Sample-2) Make Half mold with Wax and transform it to casting metal.
Every process need the professional to make it. It need to calculate and split the mold to many piece. How to release workpiece when you injection plastic in to mold. It can stuck in the mold and the release pin is need to place and less damage on workpiece when punch it out low as possible. And every piece engineer need to sanding it very neat, it can have flash and gap if you miss some process.  :-[
The final process is finish by hand by sanding it!!!

O @Oammararak Come to think of it I haven't played Spore in a long time. Used to be my one of my favorite and most played games back when it released. I ought to install it again and give it a try to see if I can recreate some of my favorite animals. I did make some dinosaurs with it back in the day, but it was tricky to get them looking decent.

Thanks for sharing that background information on your business, O @Oammararak. It helps explain how you're able to undertake such an ambitious project for a relatively small amount of money. If you're doing all the machining, it really cuts down on your overhead expenses.

Hello. I need help. My Kickstarter coordinator has a problem to transfer money to me.

The bank said that he could take the money out but they would not be able to transfer it.
The bank would not let me wire it to you because they said that there could be wire fraud involved and everything else checks out but they would not let me send it because of the possibility of wire fraud.

I have a sale contract and project page and game page to show the bank but It can not work.

How to tell him to do?

I will try Transferwise today.

avatar_DinoToyForum @dinotoyforum  I can transfer by Transferwise complete. Thank you very much.   ^-^

The problem is about the transfer document and reason is not make bank trust and he never do this that have the problem with international transfer. Western union is same problem can not transfer.

Good luck. I have used transferwise in the past and it worked well – I think there was fee but it is much better value than a bank transfer.

"Era 4 - Silurian" Suggestions for improvement part 2: *UPDATED: 1/5/2021*
O @Oammararak

Spoiler

Phragmoceras -
-The hood could be made thinner and more defined.
- Increase the number of tentacles.
- Eye detail could be improved (more defined).

Zosterophyllum -
- Needs big changes.
- Stem could be shown to be connected and branched, rather than as individual stalks.
- Sporangia (the round bits) should be clustered near the top of the plant, and arranged in either rows or helixes depending on the species.

Cooksonia & Rhynia - Just needs minor tweaks here and there: e.g. reduce size of sporangia, more detail to the sporangia.

Scyphocrinites - "Head" could use more detail/patterns.

Caryocrinites -
- Include the star-like patterns on the body-plates.
- Arms could be more defined, having more detail.

Ancyrocrinus -
- "Head" needs more detail
- Mouthparts (the middle column) should resemble a corn cob.
- The arms could have more branching, and the segment detail (lines) should be along the entire length of the arm branches.
- The "head" plates should not be so protruded and bumpy. It should instead be smoother like the Caryocrinites.
- Stalk could be thinner if possible.

Petalocrinus - Stalk could be thinner if possible.

Goniophyllum -
- Main body should be square shaped, more geometric, currently it is a bit undefined.
- (even when the coral is opened) The lids should not sink into the body so much.

Acutiramus -
- Eyes on the top of the head could be smaller.
- Overall proportions could be improved
- Head is too big in relation to body
- Tail is too small
- Tail paddle could be made wider

Pterygotus -
- Eyes on the top of the head could be smaller.
- Missing segments, should have 14, currently it only has 10 (excluding head).
- Overall proportions could be improved
- Head is far too big in relation to body
- Body should not pinch off so dramatically.
- Claw arms could be lengthened, details of the claws could be improved.

Eurypterus -
- Eyes on the top of the head could be smaller
- Main eyes should be heavily curved in shape, almost like lines.
- Missing one segment, currently it has 12, it should have 13 (excluding head).
- 12th segment has a different structure, it should be more flattened.
- I can only see 8 legs on the current figure, it should have 10. (not including chelicerae)
- Limb anatomy could be improved, first 3 pairs should be small and spiky. The 4th pair is long and thin.

Mixopterus - Limb detail could be improved, e.g. more spikes and more defined.

Carcinosoma -
- Eyes on the top of the head could be smaller.
- Head shape could be improved
- Head too big in relation to the body.
- Legs should be made MUCH larger and spikier.
- Excluding the tail segment, the final 5 segments should be broad and square.
- The transition of the body segments could be made smoother.

Slimonia -
- Head far too large in relation to the body.
- Eye position could be improved.
- Main eyes should not jut out from the head so much
- Small eyes should be further back on the head and be made much smaller.
- Legs could use more detail e.g. spikes.
- The swimming paddles should be straight and thin, currently it is too curved and big.
- Rather than only having a single line of protrusions running along the entire length of the back, it should have 2 rows of body protrusions on the first 6 segments.
- The tail could use more emphasis, large and flat like a paddle, currently this detail is too small.

May I suggest making the figures a bit larger (2-3"), and perhaps removing the bases on some of them? There are a good amount of figures that would probably look better if they were an individual, not stuck flat to a rock. I see you have numbers on the bases, so perhaps they could be imprinted on the belly of the animal instead? Of course this is your project and up to you, but I thought I'd throw my two cents out there.

Thank you for keeping it in mind! I think the sea scorpions, trilobites, worms, and Ediacaran animals would look a lot better if they weren't molded down to a rock.

Things are looking really good. With so many models to adjust-and then print-this is a lot of work!

I feel like this might make them inconvenient as game pieces.

I think these updated models look great.

In the future, I'd definitely like to see a stand-alone line of these figures without the game theme. It'd scratch an itch for collectors for sure.
