Aliexpress is doing a sale and the official PNSO store also marked some of their products 10-15% off + free shipping, mostly older figures + the Dunkleosteus:

https://pnso.de.aliexpress.com/store/sale-items/912243411.html

Snagged the Borealopelta and the Ankylosaurus for myself. I had no members of the Anklyosauria group in my collection, it was time to change that. ^-^

avatar_stargatedalek @stargatedalek Thank you for your thoughts. While I agree that calling mass produced figures scientific art is questionable and pretentious, in my opinion PNSO is still a very noticeable step up from companies like Collecta. I criticize PNSO all the time, but I also think they get judged more harshly than other companies. For example, I've seen nothing but praise for Eofauna, but when I look at their figures I just don't see it. Their Giganotosaurus has such a bland and sloppy paint application, but people seem to really love that figure. Scientifically accurate or not, that paint just doesn't cut it for me at the asking price.

I think PNSO's main problem is consistency. When you put out something as fantastic as the Parasaurolophus (I know I sing this figure's praises all the time but it deserves it!), your customers will expect that quality for all your figures. If you then release something like the much less impressive Tylosaurus for just 4$ less, people will be disappointed. Maybe if they slowed down releases, they could increase their QC. Although I'm still eagerly awaiting their take on Dimetrodon, which was leaked a while back.

Paleofiguras posted some images of a PNSO exhibition on their Facebook page. Especially this diorama I found very interesting:

This is basically the T. Rex artwork they've posted last year, but in a museum model form. When translating these to figures, the roaring one is definitely altered heavily to become what we now know as Winter Wilson. The other one is basically Andrea with some different colors on the head, but seems to be the exact same sculpt as the figure that was released this year. The only alteration they gave her is the articulated jaw, which is a bit useless since the figure doesn't come on a base like this museum model does.
But today, I'm just being father

That Wilson also has the partial feathering of the artwork, though Andrea doesn't. And I want that baby rex!

Pics Paleofiguras posted were taken in Guizhou Geological Museum, those are the true museum line :p Maybe they call PNSO figures scientific art cause most of them are revisions of museum displays :)

Warning: loads of exhibition pics from Baidu Tieba ;)

Small figures:

Life-size stuffs:

PS: AFAIK Dinone Studio sculptor painted majority of the small figures.

Weird how these greatly differ from their figure form. I even prefer the majority of these large models to their figure counterparts.

Tyrannosaurus family is my favorite out of all of these. If this becomes available it would definitely be a number one priority for me.

Another favorite of mine being the Tsintoasaurus. Strangely we have this statue already globally released some time ago. Makes me wonder if all these other models will receive the same treatment?

I would definitely like that Albertosaurus to be released as a figure.

This. I am surprised by the low amount of figures this genus has.

Another one would be that Shantungosaurus. Although we do have that vinyl that has various standing issues, I would love an updated figure (non vinyl) of it.

Perhaps you may be willing to let us all know if you receive the new (3rd version) paint edition from the PNSO store? :D

The 2nd version, which was the only option until recently, is really quite tragic.

Also, I really wish PNSO would release a figure of the blue feathered theropod accompanying Ceratosaurus.

Oh wow. The Figures and especially the life Size ones look absolutely wonderful.

I absolutely understand the wish to have a few of these as a Figure (Or the shown Figures as massproduced Figures), but i think there is a Reason, why there is not. Also, we always like, what we do not have. In the End it is their decision. And as great as a lot of the older Artworks and Works from PNSO are, i have to admit, that the massproduced Figures we can buy often look... more like an actual Animal to me. (sculptwise. Paint is something different and better paintjobs cost better money.) The older PNSO Reconstructions sometimes are extremely (over)dynamic (not just Poses.) and chaotic. But that is, of course, just my personal Opinion and everyone has a different approach on what he wants their Figures to look like in a "perfect" World. Paintwork looks phenomenal. The Style in the Carnotaurus Diorama reminds me a lot of GR Toys Carcharodontosaurus.
What are the two smaller ones in this Diorama? They kind of look like small Hadrosaurs. Secernosaurus?

But that Mosasaur (Ron, i would say) Statue. Wow. These are amongst the best lifesized Statures of prehistoric Animals, i have ever seen, i guess. Most of the existing Statues are mostly incorrect. A lot.

DragonRider02

I'd love to see that Nyctosaurus (although preferably with corrected crest) released as a figure. It's odd that PNSO still haven't released a single pterosaur!

Lynx

avatar_Faras @Faras Sorry for the ping, but do you have another link where I can view the photos? Their not popping up on my computer for some reason.
An oversized house cat.

Yes, they are prominent by virtue of their absence, except as minis.

avatar_Lynx @Lynx No worries :) Here are links to original posts (like 5 pics per figure, I just cherry picked some):

Oh, I hadn't even thought of that! I really hope it's the 3rd version, I'll let you know once it arrives. Who knows when that will be, though, with all the global shipping delays at the moment.

That Mosasaur should be replaced with a Deinosuchus.
Walking With Beasts is the best palaeo media documentary and no one can persuade me otherwise.
