New Cyberzoic concept art today, as we see more of the Technologist civilian culture!

Order is kept within the cities by way of police squads, often using struthomimus and oviraptors, as they patrol the populated areas. While they are trained to deal with native threats such as dragons, or any potential ALT (artificial lifeform technology) violations, they are mostly there to simply encourage an obedient society. A key distinction between the police and military, aside from having less armaments, are the colors of their translucent armor.

I get what they were thinking with the fleshy bits under the eye but it's sort of distracting to me?

That Dilophosaur is getting me very excited.

...Although, I'm once again wondering about the crests. They look big and appear firmly attached to the skull, but shouldn't the "sheath" still cover up the fenestrae?

Definitely waiting for the BoTM version of Dilophosaurus. It's one of my favorite carnivores and I was hoping it'd be close to Jake Baardse's version in The Isle... the speculative flesh under the eye takes away from that look a lot.

It's probably the angle. The skull sticks out a bit there and when viewed from the front should look fine..I think.

Cyberzoic is looking very promising thus far, the Dilophosaurus is looking very nice! As is the stegosaurus thus far!

Just a quick little retcon- I think Gallimimus would actually work better for this size, as a opposed to Struthomimus. But in any case, we're going for a large ornithomimid.

As I mentioned in the BotM tyrannosaur series thread, I can't get everything I like due to space limiting what I can get, so I'm revising what I plan to get from Creative Beast.

BotM dromaeosaurids are my priority and I am eager to get the Utahraptor and Deinonychus!  I won't be getting the Achillobator as I dislike dromaeosaurid reconstructions with bare heads.  Other than those, I also plan to get the Cryolophosaurus as I find it a fascinating animal, and like dromaeosaurids I think it will work very well as an action figure.

The rest is less certain.  I might get the Ceratosaurus, Kentrosaurus and Dilophosaurus (BotM version not the Cyberzoic one), I need to see how they look to have a better idea.  I'm afraid the Acrocanthosaurus and Stegosaurus will be too big for me, plus I already have a figure of those species and I don't usually get more than one figure per species.  I'm interested to see the Edmontonia and Sauropelta too, only after that will I know if I'd like to have them.  I'm also keen to see the Cyberzoic Styracosaurus, which I hope I will get as I really like the BotM Styracosaurus sculpt but not its colouration!

Is there any information regarding a 1/35 scale figure being in this line? Besides the possible reuse of the subadult Triceratops and 1/35 Tyrannosaurus.

@Bread Can't recall so, but I do hope David considers it, even if eventually down the road. I will have to do some digging. I want some company for my WWD T. rex (sub adult Triceratops aside), and there is an untapped potential for 1/35 articulated dinosaur figures (though I do think 1/18 is the sweet spot for the smaller animals like the Dromaeosurus, Guanlong, Protoceratops, Velociraptor, etc). For one thing most figures are around that scale these days (maybe 1/30 too, but more or less), but with the exception of the occasional jaw articulation, most are otherwise fully static. That said, the only two scales I've seen mentioned for this series so far is 1/12 for the Smilodon (which will also get a 1/18 BotC scale one), and 1/18 for the bulk of it.

Edit: I've also mentioned my interest in such in my upcoming WWD T. rex review, as well as the points that they would be more affordable and space conscious alternatives to the bigger 1/18 scale figures. David understands this, as it was part of why both the Triceratops  got the sub adult figure, and the 1/35 T. rex figure.

Oh my god is this Stegosaurus turning out to be so beautiful. Really glad to see David doing more hand sculpting. I can't imagine all the time it has taken to work out all those tiny scales. Hope his hands got some good rest in between all that work.

Just, wow.  This is GORGEOUS! I'm sincerely more excited for this than I was the Tyrannosaur line. It just hits all of the notes right. <3
