It's honestly the best diploducus made to date. Eofauna is risking a lot of money by commercializing this figure since the size judging by the measurements is enormous. I will honestly be a safe buyer of that work of art.

What I commented in another post is as if this figure had been taken from a work of paleo-illustrations of the highest quality, in this case, from the outstanding work of Andrey Atuchin. I can't wait to buy it from a store in my nation.

The color of the paint is extraordinary. Magnificent figure to start the year 2022.

Those two are quite the contrast, aren't they?

Yes, but in a good way right? Totally different body plans, which makes the choice for these two species by EoFauna so exciting to me. Also, I feel the colour schemes are different enough yet complimentary - you can find hints of both colours in each of them - yellow, brown. I love it.

Absolutely in a good way. I'm glad they went with Diplodocus and not a rarer genus like Supersaurus or Galeamopus because then I'd be even more hard-pressed to not buy it!

An outstanding model for sure, I am amazed. It's interesting to learn that the colour scheme was chosen by Andrey Atuchin, he did a wonderful job! I prefer this colour scheme over the one chosen for the Diplodocus hallorum from their sauropod book.

And wow, at 62 cm long, it's even longer than the Carnegie 2008 version!

Good gourd, that model is flipping fantastic!  :o

I love the comparison photo.  :))

I'll find surely a place for him, because that is a must buy for next year.
What a beauty! Love the colours. I only owned the Collecta, but I really would love to see one in all its lenght.

Well guess I have to cave in and purchase the Atlasaurus finally.... That comparison image needs to be recreated on my shelf.

You won't regret it. Still one of the best in my opinion!

BBTS has already added the Diplodocus pre-order, $49.99 Jan'22, which is I think the SRP from Eofauna. BBTS has the Triceratops for $29.99, and both the Giganotosaurus and Atlasaurus for $39.99 each, for example.

I held off on the Atlasaurus for a long time, but once I finally got it, I adored it. It's easily one of the finest sauropod toys ever.

I have it myself and I just can't recommend it enough. Stellar piece.

Gothmog the Baryonyx

And Everything Dinosaur have said they expect to be getting this beauty in January (but given the delivery into the UK this year, it could still be delayed)
Megalosaurus, Iguanodon, Archaeopteryx, Cetiosaurus, Compsognathus, Hadrosaurus, Brontosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Albertosaurus, Herrerasaurus, Stenonychosaurus, Deinonychus, Maiasaura, Carnotaurus, Baryonyx, Argentinosaurus, Sinosauropteryx, Microraptor, Citipati, Mei, Tianyulong, Kulindadromeus, Zhenyuanlong, Yutyrannus, Borealopelta, Caihong

Stegotyranno420

Wait, will these be avalabile on Amazon, hopefully prime?

Grimbeard

To be honest, I expected the Diplo to turn out good since Eofauna already did a great job with ther Proboscidea , Atlassaurus, Triceratops so they already proofed that they do quadropede herbivores great justice. I even think they do them best of all mid-range companies. But this exceeds my expectations,  both sculpt and paint job look phenomenal. My Papo Apatosaurus might have to contend his spot on my jurassic shelf.

The only thing that makes me kinda hesitant is the lenght, it might acutally be too long for my shelve. Really looking forward to January to see in-hand photos and videos.

ItsTwentyBelow

That is an excellent new Diplodocus. Best on the market, and in my preferred scale. I recently acquired their Atlasaurus and love it, so naturally it would be awesome to have this guy to display with.

Don't know how soon I would act on that though, because I do have the 2008 Carnegie Diplodocus and have been happy to call that my definitive sculpt of this genus, so am a bit torn! Can I justify owning them both? Unnnngghhhhh....

I anticipate seeing pics of both models together!
