The "Geostenbergia" is both a surprise and a disappointment. I love the look of the Lost World pterosaurs but never imagined Mattel would make one. Now they have and it doesn't come close to matching its on-screen counterpart.

They got the colors mostly right but why on Earth would they add teeth? And of course it has to have those angry looking, sunken eyes.

Faelrin

Yeah I really don't get why they couldn't spend a few minutes researching the designs. Such as these for the Geosternbergia/Pteranodon:

Or these for the raptor:

I hope the in box pics are better, but I'm still very much let down with both of these (though assuming the Geosternbergia sculpt correctly has pycnofibers, which the low resolution makes it hard to tell, then it really is the addition of teeth and the incorrect coloration on the eye and beak that ruin it). I feel even more let down with the raptor as I was waiting for it to be done since 2018, or 2019 even after that rare attack pack set was put out.

This whole $10 range of Legacy figures just feel completely unnecessary if they aren't going to bother putting more effort into them (like the Dilophosaurus that could have been semi-decent if they didn't go and give it an orange frill). The white raptor really should have had paint down the tail, and yellow eyes (but at least they gave it the round pupil). I mean it is pretty sad that the Hasbro JPIII one is far more faithful in design, aside from the weird head sculpt. Here's to hoping if either of these show up in the Hammond Collection (or a Legacy pack) in the future, they have much more care taken with them.

Also this red raptor could have been the great opportunity to base it on that canceled design from an earlier iteration of Jurassic Park III (even if it was a slightly darker/red version of the male TLW raptors with green eyes):

Possibly this one too (if either of them were to have the green eyes, and stripes on the head):

New image of the Wave 2 minis:

The pic in the op could probably use updating, as it is instead from this multipack on Amazon (which seems to include a mix of Wave 1's and Wave 2's figures):

https://www.amazon.com/Jurassic-World-Toys-HKB84-Multipack/dp/B09PB9VGWZ/ref=sr_1_5?keywords=jurassic+world+dominion+minis+multipack&s=toys-and-games&sprefix=jurassic+world+minis+mul%2Ctoys-and-games%2C100&sr=1-5

It's also missing the multipack that has the blue Lystrosaurus, etc in it, which I recall sharing a video of earlier in the thread (I guess I need to dig for it again), though I'm not sure which countries have it available. Doesn't seem to be here anywhere domestically anyways.

Blade-of-the-Moon

BBTS just billed for the Outpost Chaos playset so I guess it's ready to ship.

That's good! I always feel a little bad for BBTS, as they take so much flack for getting Mattel products later than everyone else, but I'll always stand by their customer service. Far better than Entertainment Earth, that's for sure.

normally it does take them forever.  they did ship the playset and have also shipped the basic edmontosaurus and red atrociraptor.  today they told the uncaged pyroraptor figure is getting ready to ship.

So opened up the new Iguanodon & Baryonyx mini's last night. It was as I feared. It only had four digits on the hands. Safe to say this will carry over to the electronic figure. Why is it the ornithopods always get the brunt of this problem? Even the Prologue one (and by extension the film one) had better hand anatomy.

And some new in box pics of Wave 3 Ferocious Pack figures have surfaced:

And bonus Siamosaurus:

Despite the issues with the sculpt for the Moros (especially the lack of feathers), I can confirm the coloration on this release is at least film accurate, after watching the movie last night (and though hard to tell, is also consistent with its appearance in the prologue too). So this one is certainly going on my wishlist for that. Though I really do hope we'll get for a revisited sculpt down the road with proper feathering some day.

The Moros actually looks relatively  cool now. The Siamosaurus looks like something that crawled out of a pool of toxic waste.

I'm digging the Einiosaurus, I'll get that one. The Moros is an improvement over the last one and I might get that one. I could not care less about the raptors or Siamosaurus.

Theriz

Mild Spoilers Ahead

Dreadnoughtus was actually in the movie. It was in the scene with Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler first arriving to BioSyn. It might of been the sauropod in the scene with Maisie at the construction site, but I'm not sure.

Here's all the Dominion stuff I have so far (minus the Dilophosaurus, Pyroraptor, Atrociraptor) Dr. Pepper cans and kinder egg figures. Still missing the Therizinosaurus, 2 Legacy sets, etc, but I'm mostly caught up now.

You got caught up just in time for wave 2 avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin^-^

Faelrin

Just about thankfully. Still need the Therizinosaurus, Atrociraptor Ghost set, Hammond Collection Ian (and maybe the Velociraptor), and the two Legacy sets. My wishlist for Wave 2 is probably lighter (thankfully, considering the prices on both the Stegosaurus pack and the HC Tyrannosaurus):

-Grant & Dilophosaurus
-Kayla & Pyroraptor
-Nasutoceratops (baby)
-Liopleurodon
-Iguanodon
-Megaraptor
-Legacy Stegosaurus pack
-Hammond Collection Dr. Grant, Ceratosaurus, Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus

Apparently there's another Legacy set getting revealed in 3 days, so I'm guessing that will be a Wave 2 release as well.

Another legacy set? If we get Muldoon and raptors, I'd be all over that!

My wave 2 aspirations are not as high as they were for wave 1, thankfully, because some of those I do want are rather expensive.

My list includes...

Megaraptor
Ampelosaurus
Quilmesaurus
Dreadnoughtus
HC T. rex
HC Dr. Grant
HC Ceratosaurus
HC Triceratops

I'm not sure if the HC Gallimimus and Sattler are a wave 2 or 3 release but I'll be getting the Gallimimus at least. I might get the Lioplurodon too but we'll see. I'm definitely shifting focus away from the mainline and onto the Hammond Collection.

Target is having a buy 1 get 1 50% off Jurassic World toy sale. No wave 2 stuff yet so I won't be taking advantage of it but someone here might be interested.

From the looks of my Target it will only be useful for people who want two Yangchuanosaurus.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

Well that's no good, but the sale applies to online purchases too.
