How these figures look together? [Comparison Thread]

That's what I was thinking could be the case. I recall seeing an auction on ebay a while back where someone had sold that JP Parasaurolophus side by side with the JW Blue growler figure, and the JP Parasaurolophus was about as tall as that Blue figure is long. I suppose I could use the Battat Terra one as a juvenile, though I know the crest should not be as big on a juvenile (let alone that this one has a sail on the crest).

We actually don't know what juvenile Parasaurolophus crests should look like. That's just a myth that started alongside the (false) claim that the two species represented different genders.
Trans rights are human rights.

Suspy, I know you reviewed the figure like two weeks ago already and I did not ask there, but... where did you get it from? It seems no shop has it in stock yet,... some prototype directly form CollectA?

If you're talking about the Dimorphodon I think he got a sample for review directly from Collecta, he mentions it in the review itself, if I remember correctly.

Lanthanotus

Oh, my bad... last sentence of the review indeed.... thanks Reptilia. Well, the middle of the year is nearing, so shouldn't take too long now....

I was thinking more of the RAM 14000 specimen, which I thought was a juvenile Parasaurolophus?

FWIW, when I emailed Minizoo back on May 31 to ask when they were expecting the summer CollectA stock in, they said around three weeks. So it should be pretty soon!

They look fabulous. This year from my point of view (without deprecating the precedents) is a broad year in general terms for toy dinosaur companies. :)

By the way in the facebook images of the carnotaurus Rebor it was commented that it was going to be attached to the box a figure of the david of Michelangelo and another one of the Venus de Milo. For now these figures are not seen in the first photographs.

The Carnotaurus looks more of a dark maroonish color here. I wonder why that is? I thought it was supposed to be a reddish color with black striping and a cream belly?

Edit: Oh. It seems to be a fan image. Maybe it is just the lighting.

Jose S.M.

Could someone make a comparison between the Favorite Bistahieversor with sosomething like the ws Yutyrannus and the Pentaceratops from the same set with a ws ceratopsian?  Thanks in advance  :)

suspsy

Here's the new CollectA Basilosaurus alongside the CollectA Kronosaurus, the WS Tylosaurus, and the Carnegie Ichthyosaurus. As you can see, the Basilosaurus is the longest sea monster CollectA's released to date, although far from the biggest.

Looks okay. The length is not a problem for me.

The Penta is around 1:40, most of the WS ceratopsians are more like 1:25-1:30.

Both around 1:40

Hope that helps!

Seeing these beauties of prehistoric mammals their geoworld equivalents are ridiculous in material and finish.

On the other hand the uintatherium surpasses all its competitors in the toy market is a complete beauty and in some way seems more bulky than I figured. It looks almost as big as the andrewsarchus.

Bokisaurus

A trio of Collecta's impressive mammals  :))

From the mini set, with their larger versions. I'm impressed by how accurate they are to their larger versions.

The marine set together

Now this two beauties  :D

And this, Past and Current ;D

sauroid

awesome. are the collecta mini marines the same size as the safari toob prehistoric marines and prehistoric sharks?

Nice collection there (this goes to Suspsy as well with the mammal collection). I liked seeing the larger figures with the smaller ones. I am wondering how the new CollectA tube figures size up to the Safari Cambrian Life toob, as well as their other toob's figures.
