I prefer the Safari one. It has better fur and head detail and the scheme is better too. Love your photos by the way Lanthanotus! :))

Shonisaurus

Unfortunately the megatherium is a figure very poorly represented in the figures of toy dinosaurs. The megatherium Safari is wonderful, it is very detailed but that does not mean that the Bullyland megatherium is also for me one of the prehistoric mammals preferred although for me it is not superior to Safari is perhaps one of the best in Bullyland along with its deinotherium (mouse ears) as I affectionately call it and the coelodonta antiquitatis (woolly rhinoceros) for me superior to that of the company Papo.

Lanthanotus

The adorable, yet quite small Safari Malawisaurus.

Cephalopod

Ink ink ink, cephalopods don't stink... so does their ink. I think.

The malawisaurus is very cool and awesome.  :o 8) Thank you Lanthanotus for sharing with these forum members these beautiful figures.

The only one that we do not have photos that is not promotional is the Safari hyaenodon and is perhaps one of the best figures of prehistoric toy mammals made this year along with the mastodon and megacerops.

PhilSauria

If only this one were the size of the Amargasaurus and that had been smaller, but still an impressive figure and one destined for my shelves. Thanks for the pics.

So here's my repaint.... I am not yet sure if it will stay this way as it's a bit bright, but anyway.

Beautiful, this way looks just perfect. Congrats, you're very good at repaint figures.

I don't hate most of the factory paintjob, I only dislike the white face, but your color scheme looks more natural, I like it better overall than the original.

Roselaar

Excellent repaint! I didn't dislike the factory paint scheme, but this one is definitely more appealing in my book.

This looks more believable and appealing than the original colour scheme, especially around the head area.

Shonisaurus

The repainted malawisaurus looks much better. This is like makeup or aesthetic arrangements in humans that do real miracles. The same thing happened to that malawisaurus. It is impressive what changes a dinosaur or prehistoric animal with a touch of paint.  :)

Lanthanotus

Thanks for the praise :)

Here's another repaint and slight customization, this time it hit the CollectA dead Trike, tried to fit it more with the new Safari Trike. It's not perfect, but for now suitable enough.

It looks good besides the Safari one, the only little difference is the legs on the Safari are a bit lighter color. The scene in the first photo is kind of sad, poor thing and it's mate, but Rexe's got to eat.

Shonisaurus

I suppose that because of its gregariousness, triceratops, like the rest of the ceraptosides, would have a behavior more similar to the elephant than to the rhinoceros. So triceratops should even suffer for the loss of loved ones.

PhilSauria

Much improved paint job on the Malawi!, mind if I 'borrow' the colour scheme for mine when it arrives? I'll be taking the brush to the frill adornments on the Triceratops - they just look too even and geometric. The edges of the yellow markings could be more dappled and random, as I intend to make them. Just ordered one from Amazon, they won't be sold locally until late Feb and the price plus postage will I suspect undercut the local price tag. Time will prove me right or wrong on that one of course but I couldn't wait after seeing so many images posted here, should land here in about two weeks. I'll post my modifications.

ZoPteryx

Fantastic repaints!  I especially like how you highlighted the osteoderms on the Malawisaurus.

Lanthanotus

Back from a short vacation to the Black Forest, surprisingly we had relatively good weather and still some snow left on Feldberg, so I had to take some shots with one of my new acquisitions,.... sure no mammoth, but it needed its pelt for a reason. Unfortunately the "glacier" in the back does not come out as good.... white on white, that's it :D
