Looks a lot like the animatronic, just way out of scale.

oh thanks! I didn't realize those were the minis, they look much bigger in the pics. Too bad they're a such pain to get.

Surprised no one mentioned the Dreadnoughtus went up for pre-order on Target yesterday. Edit: Actually today. I'm just up way too late/early atm but going to bed now lol.

Worth mentioning also is there's a bunch more HC coming (2 of those is at least Ellie and Dilophosaurus, probably next month's reveal). 4 total (excluding the 2 that are probably Ellie and Dilophosaurus) and another Legacy reveal as well.

It's up but still locked a of now : https://www.target.com/c/jurassic-world/-/N-4ybhy?afid=GAM_E&fndsrc=tmntga&sfid=a064R0000136t2UQAQ&racct=0014R000038f9PlQAI&cpng=3011296069&medID=5983014606&cid=138393812901

Pretty much what we all expected. Odd it's a Legacy figure now.

64.99 is much more reasonable than I expected it to be. At over a foot and a half longer than the Apatosaurus and featuring more complex articulation, 10 bucks extra feels like a steal! Definitely gonna get an order in for this one!

Edit: Got my pre-order in. This is easily one of my most anticipated figures of the year from Mattel!

Carnoking

Also, gotta have a chuckle at the fact that the pointless final battle set is still up for pre-order a month later when everything else basically sold out in a day.

Faelrin

I think it makes sense to make it Legacy like the Apatosaurus was last year. It's a way to take the risk of carrying such a large product in stores. Though safe to say they sell with how many got both the Brachiosaurus and Apatosaurus. Doubt they would have done either the Apatosaurus or this year's Dreadnoughtus if they didn't.

I imagine I'll get it once it shows up in stores. So much more enjoyable to bring those big boxes home from a store then having it shipped. Plus I uh still need a place to go to first.

I still haven't been able to find the HC T-rex , either online or in stores. I hope it gets restocked. :(

whats with the goofy teeth on the HC ceratosaurus? I hope they fix them. I actually prefer the head on the Camp Cretaceous figure.

I was going to worry about the Ceratosaurus, but then I remembered that we should be getting a Beasts of the Mesozoic one at some point, and I kinda stopped caring about anything else... 😅

New Hammond Collection Reveals

Dilophosaurus

Dr. Ellie Sattler

SpartanSquat

Today I got HC raptor and jeffrey. I think I will focus on HC, some exceptions will be made like the Dread. I have high hopes for this SDCC

Carnoking

Dilo looks great! Nice to see the feet aren't too big. Ellie is a bit of a mixed bag. The leaf is a cool addition, and I was amused to see her *ahem* dirty gloves included as her trade-off appendages but I don't know, I think I would have preferred a rain jacket and flash light for the alternative display. Plus, is it just me, or does it look like she's been hitting the gym?

Pachyrhinosaurus

They look good. The dilophosaurus' feet are a bit large, but it isn't as bad as the raptor. It's also missing the white stripe, but I'm sure that's because the paint is already so complex. It looks like the dilophosaurus will be the last of the species from the original film for the Hammond line. I'm not holding my breath for brachiosaurus, but Mattel is about to roll out a $65 sauropod toy so you never know. There's also the green parasaurolophus and baby triceratops, but I'm not expecting those anytime soon, either.

avatar_Carnoking @Carnoking I thought the alternate arms were interesting, but now that you mention it, a raincoat and light would have been nice. With the gloves, though, she'd display well next to my pieces of coprolite. The arms are wide at the joint because of the articulation. It's easier to miss with Malcolm since he's wearing a jacket, but with short sleeves it looks a little off.

So uh in case anyone was or is still interested in the SDCC set, it's $80. TBH I prefer the original HC T. rex coloration too, and having to move out by next week, yeah not gonna get this set. Oh well.

Glad the HC Dilophosaurus basically is the same as the Amber Collection one, but smaller, and missing a few paint apps (white striping, red on the hands and feet). Can't wait to get it and pair it with the bigger AC one. Also lol at the poop arms Ellie comes with. I can already imagine people pairing that with the HC Triceratops.

Well that was miserable. I was on the Mattel Creations page to try and order the SDCC Hammon Rex set as it went up for sale a little over an hour ago. I was able to add the item to my cart, and then it put me in a "waiting in line" countdown for a little over 10 minutes. During the countdown it kept saying that the item was still in stock, and kept updating the time remaining until checkout. I reached checkout and put in all my information, then clicked Continue to Shipping. At that point, of course, Item no longer available.

Some images from SDCC are hitting social media: Elasmosaurus, Gigantspinosaurus, Dryptosaurus, and Xuanhanosaurus.
