Looking forward to checking it out soon. Definitely gonna wait for a sale on the DLC though. I only just got the CC pack on sale, so that should hopefully meet my new dino needs for a while.

Whipped this up today for the JWE2 subreddit. May as well share this here too:

https://reddit.com/r/jurassicworldevo/comments/xxdncs/all_creatures_in_jwe2_currently_sorted_by_groups/

It's a list of every genus currently in the game, sorted by group. Also included the missing Dominion genera which might be in the next DLC if I had to guess. Can't believe there's nearly 100 at this point (if one has all the DLC's at this point in time).

We got Ziplines as a new attraction now, as part of the 1 year anniversary update. Folks had found it in the game files before, but now it is fully implemented. Patch note changelog here:

Seems to be a few skin updates as well, which folks are reporting (such as on the JWE subreddit), but not mentioned in the patch notes.

Has anyone tried the new zip lines yet. Can pterosaurs pick people off of it?

Official Trailer for Jurassic World Evolution 2: Dominion Expansion, launching on December 8th.

I can't update this until I get internet back. Just on my phone to let folks know. I can probably update the title at least for now though.

Also rather bummed Microceratus didn't get included. Glad everything else did though, especially the Lystrosaurus, Moros, the new Allosaurus variant, and the demon Carnotaurus skin. Even the pycnofiber Dimorphodon got included.

What's also exciting is the new pack hunting behavior for compies and moros, and new colors and patterns for most of the variants including the new Dominion Iguanodon, the previous Biosyn DLC Giganotosaurus, and Dreadnoughtus, and even the CC Kentrosaurus and Ouranosaurus. Too bad the new Allosaurus and Dimorphodon variants don't, but hopefully in a future update.

Edit: More info here:

Edit 2: Okay title updated now.

Okay the op is finally updated. Working on adding some new images for the base game animals taken from the in game species viewer. Edit: Added now, including images for the DLC species I own (all but the most recent one, and obviously the as of yet unreleased Dominion Malta one). I used whatever default skins where there to get the images with.

Inevitable that it was the Atrociraptor for the first species profile on this pack, but I hope the next one is Lystrosaurus. That said the new environment/biome looks really good.

First video look at Moros in game, and some showcase of the new campaign gameplay, etc. I am loving the new building set. Very fresh compared to the rest in the game, with their rather pristine look. The new maps/biome look great too.

Also here's a trimmed recap of the previous stream that showed some of the new update stuff, and the Malta DLC island with a natural lagoon, etc:

They did it. They gave us a Lystrosaurus species profile. Goodness can't wait for tomorrow. Can't wait to have these cute little dudes in my parks.

Prehistory Resurrection

Feathered Species Pack Announcement Trailer. Coming March 30. 1. Deinocheirus! 2. Sinosauropteryx! (Such a cutie!)  3. Sinomacrops/ Jeholopterus/ Anurognathus? (Such a cutie! Those little ears!) (Edit: confirmed to be Jeholopterus) 4. Yutyrannus! Very nice to see more feathered species indeed. I guess that the Therizinosaurus, Pyroraptor, Moros intrepidus and Oviraptor have set a precedent for more feathered species in this game; part of this franchise.  I like how through Mattel; the toy brand and Jurassic World Evolution 2, along with other Jurassic World games such as Jurassic World The Game and Jurassic World Alive, obscure species are getting recognition from such a popular franchise.  Fun Fact 1: Yutyrannus and Deinocheirus are also present in Jurassic World The Game. Deinocheirus only in Jurassic World Alive. Fun Fact 2:  Sinosauropteryx and Anurognathus (closest equivalent to Jeholopterus) are also present in Jurassic World Alive.

Gwangi

Flaffy

They look completely different from Frontier's usual style, and in the good way. No more lumpy, leathery sculpts that look like they've been dosed in oil.

Eatmycar

I would love to see Frontier waste less time being constrained by the Jurassic IP and do their own dinosaur park builder once JWE 2 dies. Their unique designs are very nice, and these are the cream of the crop.

Nanuqsaurus

These designs are just way too good for the Jurassic World franchise. It's pretty clear Frontier loves creating more accurate prehistoric creatures, but they're often constrained by the already existing designs from the movies. But when they don't have those constraints, they knock it out of the park!

Faelrin

Just woke up a bit ago. Deinocheirus and Yutyrannus were two of my top wants and they are two of my favorite dinosaurs period. Love the new adorable Jeholopterus, and a welcome addition as it is the third pterosaur with pycnofibers in the game. Sinosauropteryx is a wonderful surprise as well. That said I gotta wonder will the Sinosauropteryx have a skin like what's in the fossil record?  The orange and white striping, etc?

But bruh it gets even better with the patch notes. You're giving us the viewing dome from JPOG and the long requested T. rex Kingdom Log too? Wonderful news.

Glad to see all the new sandbox settings and new square maps too. Very excited about all of this. A little over a week wait.

Only thing I'm a little concerned about is Deinocheirus looks a bit small? And I'm really hoping it isn't like the weak hadrosaurids in this game. Hope it can actually defend itself. I wonder if it will also have that leaked herbivore/piscivore diet from a bit back too? Now we just need Tarbosaurus (which was in CC afterall) to have the full big three Nemegt formation theropods.

Edit: Right. Almost forgot to mention the forum post, which has info about the upcoming patch too.
https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/jurassic-world-evolution-2-feathered-species-pack-and-update-6-coming-30-march-2023.615298/

Getting 6 new square maps (probably like Planet Zoo's), both a viewing dome (probably like JPOG's), and a log one (hopefully like the JW T. rex Kingdom one), some much needed settings for Sandbox mode, etc.

Edit 2: Got the op updated and reformatted some stuff. Took quite a bit. I still have a few images of the variants from the last patch I'm behind on adding, so I'll try to do that at some point. Might just wait until after I get my hands on the new DLC to do that though.

Jose S.M.

Deinocheirus looks so great! All of them look good, makes me kind of sad Therizinosaurus is stuck with the movies design. I know some people like it but it's not my cup of tea and it will stand out ( not in the best way) even more alongside Deinocheirus.
