Is it just me or does this look like it would be perfect with a Saurian color scheme?

I'm crossing my fingers for a Saurian style color scheme on the upcoming Eofauna rex. I think that sculpt feels more in line with the Saurian design, especially in the head.

I still feel like a Blue Rhino Studio Sue color scheme would have been killer on REBOR's here.

Eatmycar

I really, really wish we'd get Saurian paint schemes in some toy line. It kind of befuddles me that we haven't yet. I'd honestly have expected it with Beasts of the Mesozoic at least considering Jake Baardse models some of those animals...

SRF

Earlier repaints of Kiss with the Saurian color scheme didn't really do it for me. I think the sculpt of Eofauna's Sue Tyrannosaurus fits that color scheme better indeed.

Just got an email from Big Bad Toy Store saying that Kiss and the Carnotaurus rex are getting restocked over there. Currently up for pre-order. Estimate April for Kiss and estimate October for Carnotaurus rex.

Seems that the stock of "Kiss' isn't yet exhausted. Good news!

Pulled Tusk off the shelf to help test some new diorama foliage...

Ole 'Tusk' looks right at home, I'd say, avatar_Over9K @Over9K . I think that the time you spend acquiring or fabricating the flora is time well spent.

I wonder if Kiss will be restocked in European stores as well. If so, I might just pick one up to have one without a slightly crippled leg.

Would be nice if it was a new color variant though.

Maybe a second Kiss-Run would have no jaw-issue.

If they manage to fix the tail gap as well, it would be a significant improvement.

And an undoubtful reason to buy it!

As far as am informed, Rebor always only does one run per Figure. If its sold out, it is sold out. :/

Oh, now look at that!

I wonder if that new paper that has dropped is any reason for avatar_REBOR_STUDIO @REBOR_STUDIO to do more production runs or even new color variations for Kiss... ::)

For those who've missed it, Everythingdinosaur and other online stores now have Kiss back in stock again.

Yes, I'm still hesitating to get it for the same reasons.
I'm afraid of the articulated jaw that does not close fully, and it would be a shame not to play with it a little...
I don't really want to count on luck for that, are there people who had one with a perfect articulated jaw ?
Are there people who got one whose jaw does not close fully but managed to fix that ?

I just ordered one from BigBadToyStore.
I am curious if there are any batch improvements with this second run. I'll let you know followed by images.
