Quote from: Crackington on June 18, 2023, 12:07:51 PMJust browsing the site this morning and noticed the stats. Do we really own 21,156372 figures between us?!!

That's 32,055 figures each if divided by the 660 members on the site! :o

Feel I'm really letting the side down with my paltry 378 figures  :D

that's definitely a bug  :)) how do i know? because there are total 5966 entries in the database. if we assume every member owns ALL figures in the database that would still be 3,937,560

Faelrin

I noticed that too. Gotta be a bug lol. I know I have nearly 700 now (from over 20 companies, over 300 species). I'm sure there's folks with way more out there though.

Yep, it's quite funny isn't it?

We would all have to own at least 5 copies of every one of those 5966 figures on the database too by my reckoning, unless my Maths skills have deserted me!

Concavenator

I only have 22 figures, guess I'm a dishonor to the site!

Halichoeres

People can add multiples if they have herds, so it might just be one person claiming, accidentally or otherwise, to have 20 million of something.

mind you not everyone is entirely honest, some guy might've gone through and said they owned 100 of whatever

Okay, I want to shed some light on this. I already mentioned that the system is being changed over in the background. The person helping me with this had tested the current system and therefore added a few million of a figure to "His Collection". I reset the numbers on him to 0 and nobody has more than 10 of the same figuresin the database.

Now everyone has an average of 53.8 figures in their collection. Which sounds a lot more realistic :)

Crackington

Thanks for clearing that up avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector.

Good to know we are not the maddest collectors in the world!

Halichoeres

That seems like a much saner average. Thanks for the explanation!

That extremely high average was probably caused by Andy's dinosaur reviews impressively colossal collection  :))

I've added a bunch of new 2023 Takara Tomy figures. Going to be doing some minor updates on the remaining 2023 Takara Tomy figures (as needed, like adding size info, etc, to bring in line what I added today). Maybe a few more images as well. May do more for the others in prior years later, maybe on a year by year basis.

avatar_Halichoeres @Halichoeres Perhaps me as well. I haven't really been paying too much attention to them as of late. Did either of us even update for the 2022 figures I wonder? Can't recall.

Added the new Haolonggood Nasutoceratops Designer Edition coloration (not sure if/when available, but on their Amazon store page), and added the Edmontonia pair as it is available on Aliexpress now. Not sure which color goes with which name yet (see this post and this post for more info), but that's the way I added them. Will add proper images once they are on the Amazon store, since that's what I tend to use. Hopefully that's soon, so folks can see which color version to add to their collection, unless they want both.

Yeah, there are no 2022 figures in the database, and only one from 2021. I'd been keeping that part of the site updated before that, so that's on me. The Dilophosaurus and Therizinosaurus landed with a bit of a thud, but I imagine there are users who would like to add them to their collection. I'll work on that.

I've finally added TNG as a company, and as many figures as I could find info on (most came from the video shared in this post ). Most are lacking images, because I couldn't find any listings for them. If anyone has come across them, please send me links to retailer listings with them. If anything is incorrect as well let me know.

Added the new PNSO Albertosaurus, Rebor Sarcosuchus, and Schleich Quetzalcoatlus. Really kind of a slow year so far tbh.

Added the Allosaurus, and updated some information (size, some names) on a few of the previous releases. Still not sure which of the names from the one post correspond with some of the older figures, but I'll keep researching that.

I did see on Amazon which of the names goes with the Apatosaurus in a smaller image, so those at least got to be updated as well.

I added the PNSO Gorgosaurus yesterday. Much to my surprise, as I went to go add an image for it today (now that it is up on PNSO's Amazon store, where I get the images from), someone had already beaten me to the punch. Whoever it was, thanks for saving me a bit of time there. It's not much, but I'm actually very tired today, so it is very appreciative.
