I feel like i'm the only one who likes the Eoraptor/Stegouros set.

I like them, but they could've been great if they just lost that ugly DNA Tab on their backs. The prototype renders during the SDCC reveal didn't have them iirc and looked so much better.

avatar_DinoFan2010 @DinoFan2010 I'm very much excited for it as well. Probably number one on my wishlist for next year's stuff other then the Kaprosuchus.

avatar_Flaffy @Flaffy Agreed. Absolutely unfortunate they swapped to this dumb thing instead of the stickers. It's definitely got to be why there is cost cutting (lack of paint apps, etc) other then your typical skimpflation going on across the board.

Not true, I'm really looking forward to that set and kinda hope Mattel tries to include such a 2-pack in every Danger Pack assortment moving forward!

CityRaptor

I'm looking forward to it. Seems to be a good method to also include smaller species. And finally give us an Oviraptor. Presumbly packed with Lystrosaurus.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Yeah, we need an Oviraptor. And Maybe Angel and Rebel as well

I am not much of a JW collector, but I plan to buy the Eoraptor pack (which means I'll have an extra Stegouros to trade if anyone is interested). Like others, I think the format is promising for including smaller animals in the line.

On another note, I'm surprised at how much product Mattel is releasing with no major media tie-in, or did I miss something?
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

There was something about new animated content when the Allosaurus was leaked. Presumbly a few products are related to that. Including the Triceratops, which looks so different from the usual Trikes.

Blade-of-the-Moon

Yeah I'm just not sold on it, seems a step backward in terms of detail.  Which is fine by me. my Mattel collection is so large is taking a third of my collection space.  Time to thin the herd again..

Poposaurus and Craterosaurus (which I didn't knew before) look really nice. Very good sculpts.

suspsy

What series is the Craterosaurus in?

avatar_suspsy @suspsy Both the Craterosaurus and Kileskus are Danger Packs. So from the cheapest assortment, but also typically with the worst distribution among the mainline.

That allo looks... interesting

CityRaptor

Since the Allosaurus is apparently tied with a new animation project, I think it is save to assume that this also the case for the Triceratops, given how different it looks from the usual Trikes.

I take back everything good I said about the Allosaurus... How did this

Turn into this...

CityRaptor

I don't see a difference.
