It does look pretty good but I would have to agree, I'm probably set for life when it comes to the JP rex.

I never thought I'd have an over abundance of them as a kid. With Mattel, every other company, and the pre-orders I have I can't imagine getting anymore..well MAYBE a Rex standing on the Explorer as a big diorama ( not Iron Studios version ) but that's really it. ;)

Lana put the Rex up for preorder here: https://lanatime-shop.com/collections/dino-dream/products/dd010

For some reason the price jumped 30.00 from the Giga.

Blade-of-the-Moon

and now DD has announced a Therizinosaurus lol

blnadal

Awesome! This one I trust will be released, unlike Nanmu...

Carnoking

Yup, I suppose if Nanmu doesn't come through, this will make a fine substitute!

Looks pretty good in most of those pics. The paint on the stripes and main body look like they could use a wash? Something more to bring out detail vs a heavy airbrush?

looking at some pictures, I think they went for accuracy instead of detailing, you know?
like the 1/10 by Spiral Studios:

Perhaps, we only see it mostly in darker/limited light scenes anyway. That makes it difficult to judge. I'm sure the sculpt is accurate to the source material they used, probably renders?  Still think a wash might help look less flat in the areas where it has the striping painted.  I actually canceled my 1/10 Spiral Giga, it just wasn't meeting my expectations for the price tag. This one at least is MUCH cheaper. When I'm done I'll have 6 JW Gigas..more than enough for anyone I think lol

Carnoking

Paint job does look a bit soft to me. Definitely feels like there was an over reliance on airbrush
