L @Leyster Thanks for the remark, added those two to the list.

Chasmosaurus

Can anyone add the Dodo or Raphus figurine from Safari ltd when they have time?

I just noticed while browsing the site that there are 3 entries for a Takara Tomy Acanthostega figure. Does anyone have any photographs?

Faelrin

I was supposed to add images for lots of those figures from the official site but never got around to it (I added a ton of their missing figures a few years back). Toyanimalwiki has info on the different versions, as does the website (I can add a link in a bit), under Yujin I think.

Ohhh I've seen the Yujin figures before. I didn't realize Yujin was part of Takara Tomy.

So I added the Haolonggood Xenoceratops pair, the Rebor Vastatosaurus pair, and the new Carnotaurus repaint, and the Nanmu Vastatosaurus pair.

Kind of discovered there's a new 2024 editor which has options for the period, unlike the 2023 I mostly still use, so I'll be doing some mass updates for figures missing periods and incorrect periods. Gonna correct a few other things in the database too, like updating any figures still using Canis dirus to use Aenocyon dirus instead, as well as adding Vastatosaurus to any previous figure that was clearly based on it (such as the old Papo, previous Rebor, etc), that way it can be easier to find figures based on its design. Might need to add the term into the species editor for it to work though. Anything else needing corrected while I'm going about doing these updates I'll try to fix.

Thanks for what you're doing avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin!  I haven't made any contributions for around a month as I was working on Kaiyodo figures and encountered some problems relating to the product number and image link which I've spoken to avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector about and I'm waiting to hear back from him on how to proceed.

I've decided to update and move all the sauropodomorpha figures into Dinosauria - Sauropodomorpha instead of Dinosauria - Sauropoda, as not every figure in that group falls into the clade Sauropoda. I had to update each of the genera in the species editor, and now begins the slow process of moving them all into this new group. I got a number of them added, but still have like 300+ to finish migrating over. This means also updating period info, and adding any missing genera to the species editor.

That said kind of added Titanosaurus twice (didn't realize it was already present when I added it), so I may as well just edit the latter entry into Zhuchengtitan as it does not appear there yet, and is one that is needed because of the recent addition of the Meng figure of that animal.

I also noticed there were entries for Altispinax and Becklespinax. I wonder if something along the same lines should be done, as Becklespinax is now considered to be a synonym of Altispinax.

I also added a new "Fictional" classification to make it easier to find things like the hybrids, the Cyberzoic dragons, the Vastatosaurus (which I noticed already had an entry), though said figures need to be updated to make use of it. Edit 2: Updated those now. If I'm missing any though, let me know.

Edit: Got all sauropods except those named Brachiosaurus swapped over. Legit 7 pages of them, and I'll do those later. Edit 2: Got about half of those moved over now. Gonna do the rest tomorrow.

Got most of the fictional things moved over to the Fictional classification (Indominus rex, Indoraptor, Hasbro hybrids, Vastatosaurus, etc). I've decided to leave the Papo ones as Tyrannosaurus, as while they probably are or were based on the Vastatosaurus, they don't resemble it as much as the later figures that are clearly based on it (such as from Rebor, and Nanmu). If folks think it should be otherwise, then let me know and I'll give those an update.

I've also added a Various classification for anything that's like two or more figures (edit: unless there's like a main figure and an accessory smaller creature, like many of Mattel's sets with a main dino and included compys, etc), as the new system (or even the old one I suppose) wasn't really made with multiple figures in thought (such as the Mattel Jurassic World post mini sets, Safari Toobs, etc, for example). Edit 2: Gone through all the Mattel figures, and updated those as needed. Will need to do this for every other brand though just to be thorough, but I suppose I can do that tomorrow as well.

Hello! Thanks to all who are working on the site!

I have 3 issues, probably you know some kind of solution. :-\

When I click on the Wishlist, trying to access it, it leads to a blank page, browser type notwithstanding.
Also, when I click on any item on my collection list, it draws an error message (screenshot attached).
Plus, the collection list doesn't show the rating I gave, the summarized rating by the users, and the number of owners and "wanters". However, these are accessable from the general search.

Is there a solution for these problems?
Thanks in advance!

avatar_K.Bela @K.Bela Unfortunately it has been broken for a while now since the site was updated a bit ago. We will just have to wait until avatar_DinoToyCollector @DinoToyCollector has the time to fix it.

I was also coming here to let folks know I got all the remaining Brachiosaurus figures updated (last night). Did a few more updates on the Fictional figures for consistency (also last night). Did some more moving and updating those with multiple figures released together into the Various category/classification (for missing Mattel Jurassic World and Takara Tomy so far). I also did a few more updates for the Takara Tomy figures, and two additions. I fixed the figures with the longstanding Dinosauria -- Theropoda sorting (which was caused a long time ago from when I mass imported a bunch of Takara Tomy figures. I fixed most, but burned out and never did the rest for a while, until now finally). I updated the 2020 and 2021 Ancient Sea sets to sort within the ARTS series (like every other Gacha figure), added more info, and added the Coelacanth for the 2020 set, and the Ammonite for the 2021 set. It bugged me for a while that these were missing, but never had the interest to get around to fixing it. Well it is fixed now. I've already gone ahead and marked those as owned.

I'm also thinking of going and adding individual versions of the Mattel sets with multiple figures (such as the Eoraptor and Stegouros set for example, ones like those), and any missing Takara Tomy sets (which I've done this for most so far). This way folks can pick and choose which figure to add to their collection. In my case it also means I can set that I have 3 Mattel JW Lystrosaurus in my collection (2 2022, 1 2024).

I'll probably wait to do that until I plan to do another bulk add for the Mattel and Takara Tomy figures, which might not be a for a bit, as there's loads more updates I plan to do first.

I think the next thing I'll tackle is finish updating the various groups and missing species in the species editor (and moving things into the Various section as needed) like I did for those in Sauropodamorpha. Probably gonna do the various invertebrate groups next. This will hopefully have things better organized and keep consistency across the figures that are of the same genera.

That said I think I'm done for today. Maybe might do a little more later tonight, but I'm taking a substantial break for the meantime.

Edit: Well had a bit of a nap, and decided to add the new Recur Brachiosaurus, Mosasaurus, and Triceratops I've been behind on adding. I also added the newest Paleozoo Megalograptus pair.

Edit 2: Added the Recur Super Egg as well. I'm aware that it has already released in China, but no US retailers have it that I'm aware of. Amazon did have the other extant animal egg sets back, but those appear to be sold out now.

I'm amazed that Tomy is maintaining a product page for a nearly two-decade-old item, especially since that's from before they acquired Yujin.

Honestly I was amazed at all those present too. Way back around the time I added that, I had scrolled as far down in the Gacha section as it would let me. I think the earliest were like the Disney's Dinosaur figures from 2000. It's amazing they really go that far back.

Been taking a little break from the DTC again, with playing and working on some modding stuff for Oblivion, but I added the newest Haolonggood and EoFauna reveals so folks can at least add those to their wishlists or collections eventually.
