Frankly if they do a lipped tyrannosaurus I may just get it, as so far the only other lipped offering is Eofauna's which has some issues.

Sim

I am happy Haolonggood appears to be making theropods again though, it's been such a long time since they last did.

Quote from: Sim on October 07, 2024, 09:06:29 PMI'm afraid it's going to be another Tyrannosaurus :-\  There are other theropods I wish Haolonggood would make...

Yes but there own take on T.rex has major issues

In comparison to thire other theropods.

So I rather see them Redux that, before makeing others

Sim

I think the current Haolonggood Tyrannosaurus is better than their Allosaurus and Therizinosaurus...  The only problem I think it has is being quite crude...  Tyrannosaurus is popular enough that I won't be surprised if it is what the figure turns out to be, particularly coming right after its rival, Triceratops.  It would also be a fitting way to start a new series of theropods...  I'm not interested in a Tyrannosaurus though.  I hope Haolonggood makes a Torvosaurus tanneri... it would be so unique and I need a good one...

My brain immediately registered the pink as a flower like a rose lol. Curious to see what it is. Still have those other remaining ceratopsians and the Huayangosaurus to release from what was revealed a bit ago, but I wouldn't mind if there was a change of pace again like the Triceratops was. Do hope those others still release at some point (even if next year) like the Styracosaurus.

Edit: Is it just me or are the images in the op not loading anymore? Only one showing up is the Maiasaura one for some reason.

There's also Rebor's Kiss, and the upcoming Showanna (and probably a new PNSO sooner or later...)
One day we will know the truth about Spinosaurus... but not today.

The only theropod from Haolonggood I have is the Daspletosaurus. I think they really shine with their herbivores which I am happy about since regrettably my dinosaur collection is severely lacking in that department. However, I'd be more than happy for some more carnivores/theropods. Especially if they are improved with the quality of their recent triceratops.

I actually think the Showanna Tyrannosaurus will have exposed teeth when its mouth is closed.  A photo of it with the mouth closed seemed to show this.

The Showanna model, while lipped, does not actually have a full seal. And Kiss is oversized and has several anatomical issues which disqualify it for me. It is very high quality however.

I'm not liking how Haolonggood is apparently no longer ticking off the models on their teaser post, especially seeing as how there's only four left.

I am cautiously optimistic, since HLG's previous theropods didn't have me leaping out of my chair, but they have grown so much since their last theropod offering so I am hoping whoever this is will surprise us pleasantly!

Blade-of-the-Moon

hmm mosasaur? almost looks like an open mouth with a forked tongue?

In all fairness, Haolonggood has served collectors of herbivore dinosaurs very well, so a few theropods would be in order. My only concern would be that the recent surprise releases could indicate they may have binned the plans for the remaining genera that were shown in the catalogue. And we may be even further away from any release of one of the two large sauropods (Brachiosaurus? and Argentinosaurus?). But who knows. Maybe they will finish the year with something big.

SenSx

I'd love a Mosasaurus for sure.
There isn't a single one that satisfy me.

But if the rumored of a new PNSO one is true, it means we could have a mosasaurus battle between the two companies again !

Flaffy

Argentinosaurus. The images speak for themselves.

SenSx

Oh wow I did not expect Argentinosaurus so soon.
What will the dimensions be in your opinion ?

According to Paleofiguras, measures a whopping 1 meter along the curve. :o

Samrukia

jaw-dropping. it dwarfs Alamosaurus!

Sim

The Argentinosaurus look great!  It's not a species I would like a figure of, but it looks very satisfying for those who want it.  I'm not concerned about Haolonggood releasing species that weren't on the poster, I'm sure they will get back to them.

Samrukia

classic Haolonggood
1.you expect something from previously known (poster)
2.they tease something completely different (carnivore teaser)
3.boom
