Quote from: Joliezac on April 08, 2025, 05:39:38 PMS @Shane any idea when the IC stork will be in stock?

I am not 100% sure but I would expect it within the next couple of months, hopefully.

Haven't started on the Nanuqsaurus yet, but it will get done.

I'm just glad to know they are at least in the queue.

I have the Austroraptor reserved for review and do not wish to relinquish it, but like Suspsy I will bump it up in the queue, for S @Shane.

While the bumping is appreciated, I was more just concerned that these items were not getting reviewed, since I was not sure what was in the queue or reserved.

It's enough to know that people are intending to review them.

I like that one, i plan on posing it next to a figure of Appa!

In my own case I just got caught up in a sea of Mattel, PNSO, and HLG stuff...and I had many Captivz samples to get through that I felt took priority (because they were samples). But I'm eager to get my Safari reviews up and they were all reserved for review rather quickly after announcement.

What scale is the Austroraptor in? I'm guessing 1:25?

By total length, yes. The head is larger, about 3.1 cm long.

Belated "family photos", anyone? I posted these in my own collection thread, but it occurred to me they'd be useful here too.

Saltasaurus, Austroraptor, Nanuqsaurus, and Megalosaurus all together.

Saltasaurus with the Carnegie model.

Austroraptor with Safari Utahraptor and Citipati - colorful Doug-Watsonian maniraptors.

Nanuqsaurus with Dino Dana Feathered T.rex.

Megalosaurus with Collecta and PNSO counterparts.

Faelrin

Hard to believe we've become spoiled for choice for a modern Megalosaurus, and all around its 200th anniversary of its naming. All great figures. Also now that I think about it the Safari Megalosaurus reminds me quite a bit of the Toyway WWD Allosaurus in texture and paint job.

Perhaps the same with Utahraptor and Austroraptor, with both the great Safari and Creative Beast versions (although their Austroraptor is not yet out).

I have very few Safari dinos in my collection but I am very tempted by this Megalosaurus! I love the colors.

I'd like to purchase that Safari Megalosaurus when it will finally be available in Europe, I'll own those 3 Megalosaurus, an exception I will make for the first official dinosaur that has been neglected for so many years.

Sim

I'm happy to see the Austroraptor has different tones to the Citipati!  The figure shows Safari is still among the best at making prehistoric animal figures!

Sim

Safari has appreciated the polls for figure wishes I linked them to!  They also told me though that they don't have anything else planned for 2025 currently. :(

Fembrogon

Maybe (hopefully) they're gearing up for a more productive and timely 2026 slate. I won't blame them for "talking a year off" if it means restoring some normalcy internally.

I was looking forward to seeing new stuff from Safari...

Well, hopefully there will be new releases for 2026, then.

If all the companies proceed like Papo, ie schedule about 1 or 2 years ahead which figures to include in their next catalogues, I guess that our suggestions will be optimistically taken into consideration for their 2027-2028 novelties at the earliest ?

Joliezac

A shame nothing else for this year, but I suspected that. So does that mean they won't reveal anything until 2026? Still waiting for the stork to release...
