PrimevalRaptor

My Eofauna Ankylosaurus just came in and this is definitely in the top 10 models of my collection now. I was in-between this and the PNSO one (with leaning a bit more towards the Eofauna even if I like the PNSOs pose) and yeah this is an incredible model especially at that price point.
Very expressive pose too and it really captures how wide ankylosaurs could get. Glad to finally have this classic dinosaur in an updated version. :D

Good acquisition, avatar_PrimevalRaptor @PrimevalRaptor , and an interesting contrast with that older interpretation, who has a bit of a quizzical expression on its face, like ..." Hmmm, so that's the new, improved version of me! I'm not jealous, no not really, never me, how could anyone ever think that way."

PrimevalRaptor

Great interpretation, the Toyway Ankylosaurus is one of my holy grails of my collection since it's the one Toyway figure I've gotten so far and I do like it a lot but it does have a bit of a skeptical/grumpy uncle look lol

Joliezac

Congrats!! I want this figure so badly along with the other new Eofauna, but I've been waiting for the Papo Suchomimus to save on shipping (who knew it would take over a year to be released  ::D ) SO hopefully I'll get it soon! Ankylosaurus is one of my favorites

The little happiness of the day :)
This Tyco Pterodactyl dating from 1987, that I got for only 4€ today at a flea market thanks to my incredibly savvy friend !

I don't know if I really made a good deal nevertheless, I'm super happy to add this amazing piece to my collection.

That's quite a coincidence, I also recently acquired this figure  ;D  I paid a little bit more than that, but not too much.
Here it is with some fellow Solnhofen Limestone figures (which all scale quite nicely together):

One day we will know the truth about Spinosaurus... but not today.

Congrats on acquiring the Tyco Pterodactyl!

I remember getting the Dino-Riders set of it as a child, but it is no longer in my collection as my parents sold a huge chunk of my dinosaur/prehistoric animal toys when I was in highschool back in the '90s.

I just got my Hammond Collection Stegosaurus this morning, which was a surprise. A wonderful addition to the Hammond Collection. I posted more about this in the Mattel 2025 thread if ya'll are interested! ^_^

My newest shipment from everythingdinosaur arrived! I wasn't too sure about getting the Haolonggood Daspletosaurus for the longest time; it always looked quite awkward to me on the promotional images. But when I saw in-hand photos and footage of it, I fell in love. Despite the small inaccuracies, I vastly prefer it over the PNSO version, and am very happy to add it to my collection  ^-^

Here is is with some other finds I made at the DoKomi this weekend  8)

Two of them aren't dinosaurs, but I figured I might as well share them ;) Very happy about getting these two beauties, and for a relatively good price, too  ;D

The Velociraptor plush is from Afternoon Fika, a small business from Sweden. Their booth at DoKomi was one of the most popular ones, and people were standing in a long line to get some of their stuff! I saw some people spend over 200 € on that booth alone :o They sold out extremely fast, too. I visited their booth on day one, shortly after the beginning of the con, otherwise I probably would not have been able to snag this cutie up.

Wow honestly, I would have never guessed the species :o
It looks pretty much like a Pokemon character... Cute anyway ^-^ & congrats on your rather eclectic acquisitions !

A small newcomer from Safari, the Wild Safari Nanuqsaurus, their latest addition to their slowly growing line of tyrannosaurids. Here it joins the pack - they're a colorful group aren't they, and they should be as they're meant to catch the eyes of children, as well as collectors.

Sorry about the brightness, the late afternoon sun just overwhelmed my little cellphone.

A comparison with an earlier Safari feathered tyrannosaurid, their well-received Yutyrannus;

I think that the earlier feathered sculpt definitely displays a better level of detail and definition. Still, the Nanuq is a welcome addition to the tribe.

I wasn't planning on ordering this figure, until glancing through the Minizoo website, I noticed that they had all of one (1) CollectA 2022 Melbourne Museum Triceratops repaint variant available. Considered that this might be the end of the road for getting this figure (I'd briefly weighed doing that when it first came out), so I placed my order. Presto, two weeks later, here it is:

Compared with a couple of other big bruisers, definitely bigger than 1/35 scale, for sure, the Nanmu JP trike and the PNSO museum Triceratops with base -

With the Nanmu, again (hefty beasts). That Melbourne Museum custom paintwork really stands out -

I'm quite taken with this figure, butt fuzz and all. Somehow that unorthodox speculative feature just seems to work, visually, with this piece, IMO.

That version of the CollectA trike is very handsome; glad you were able to snag it, S @SidB. I keep forgetting how big some of those CollectA figures are.
Check out my customs thread!

S @SidB 's post here is the first time I've seen the new Safari LTD Nanuqsaurus.
...I can't be the only person who sees a resemblance here, right? Do I have more influence over dino-media than I thought? Am I seeing things?! XD

Gwangi

Honestly, this seems to be a common colorway for Nanuqsaurus. After all, it is the "polar bear lizard".

Thanks, it sure stands out on the shelf. If it's at the end or near the end of its availability, I was fortunate to snag it.

The long wait is over, my Showanna rex has finally arrived and I'll take this opportunity to share some pictures of it with you.
