Well I just ordered one of the remaining four 1/18 Linheraptor figures from Minizoo. Got a 15% coupon for Creative Beast figures. Figured now would be the best time to go get that one while its still in stock somewhere. If I had enough on hand would have went with the Lythronax, but need to do more saving.

Dilophosaurus is back in stock at Everything Dinosaur, in case anyone is still wanting for it.

I'm still debating on whether I should get the Botm version or the Cyberzoic one...

Same here! 😅

Regardless, this will be my first Dilophosaurus figure ever!

I got the BotM one, but I also want the Cyberzoic one. Both have unqiue coloring, and different head sculpts. But if you have to pick only one go with what you vibe with the most?

If one wants both or the BotM version and still doesn't have it though, don't sit too long on it.

Yeah I've been thinking it over, I'm gonna go with the Cyberzoic version. I prefer the paint application and the more fearsome look.

Hope I can get my hands on this beast at some point (along with the upcoming Spinosaurus, and others revealed). Still have a lot of upcoming ones to pick up once released like the Andrewsarchus, Carnotaurus, and Cryolophosaurus, as well as the Deinonychus, Gorgosaurus, Smilodon, and a few others from the old stock still.

There was also a look at the Kentrosuarus printed sculpt shared, and the Cyberzoic Austroraptor which was finally painted up. They were in an instagram post in my feed. Not sure how to go about sharing those, but I imagine they'll be shared on the main creativebeast accounts soon enough.

I've honestly been thinking lately about primarily focusing on collecting This line. The stuff they have on the horizon makes it hard not to! Also that Acrocanthosaurus is AMAZING!

Concavenator

Man, that Acrocanthosaurus looks glorious. Hopefully there will be a 1:35 version as well, otherwise it'll be a skip on my end, as per usual.

Personally, if I were to restrict myself to just one line of dinosaur toys it would be BOTM/Cyberzoic without a doubt. No other toyline gets even remotely close to these for me. They cater to my exact taste in toys. I vastly prefer action figures over static models, the larger 1:18 scale gives them 10x more presence, and also because of that larger scale we get little dudes that would be impossible in the standardised 1:40-1:30 of most other toylines.
My only real issue with the line is how carnivore-heavy it is at the moment. And the only herbivores we do have are all ceratopsians. But it's just a matter of time before more herbivorous families get some representation.

...and I swear this has nothing to do with the fact that I have a figure in the line. XD

Blade-of-the-Moon

Acros are pretty much David's favorite dinosaur at least judging by past releases.  ^-^

Sim

Everything Dinosaur has told me all the small 1:18 figures (Velociraptor, Linheraptor, Dromaeosaurus, Protoceratops, Psittacosaurus) are now retired.

crazy8wizard

As much as I liked them, I can see why. For how tiny they are, the price seemed way too high.

David (and Chris too in the various Creative Beast Previews) has made it clear pretty much everything (raptors, ceratopsians, and tyrannosaurs) prior to the newest waves is getting discontinued. They may get repaints down the line for Cyberzoic, but otherwise no plans atm. So if you want one of the older figures still available, get them asap. There was a post I made a bit ago (in this thread or one of the related ones, but pretty sure it was this one) that went into detail about this. Probably the one with the current stock list for the raptors (which might need updating again, dunno).

Besides the standard goshawk 1/18 Dromaeosaurus, I have all the rest of wave 1 now. Still need to catch up on wave 2, especially the FC Dromaeosaurus, since I have had no luck with finding the previous Dromaeosaurus release anywhere, and it would be better to have that one, then none at all at this point. It's great to have these alongside the larger Utahraptor (and eventually Achillobator, Deinonychus, and Austroraptor).

Edit: This was the post I was referring to. Check the reddit thread:

Giganotosaurus

I got to talk with a certain somebody (mainly about upcoming Cenozoic figures) at G-Fest over the weekend (Godzilla Fest). Creative Beast Studios had a booth! I was soo excited that I had that chance!! There was one animal in particular that he mentioned that hasn't been announced yet, so I'll keep my dang mouth sealed shut. 😅

Damn this is an enormous problem for me, as they cost a lot, worst among the ones I needed there is the small Dromaeosaurus.

There's still the kestrel colored 1:18th Dromaeosaurus on creative beast's website!
