Wonderful and colourful work again :) And that Tyrannoaurus Chick looks fantastic. I never bought it but i think it looks great. You did a really good job on the small one :)
I wish i was that fast / Motivated.

Okay, so some of you may be familiar with this figure or have seen it in my collection thread. This figure was one I got from Malcolm of Faunacast many many years ago. It's not one of his sculpt, but from Rush Studios based on the direction of Gregory Paul. It was from the 90's I believe and was discarded as outdated. This was a cast that I managed to get.
I kept it in its original paint job for many years, but time has not been good to the paint and it started to deteriorate. The material is interesting, very similar to those printed Shapeway models in texture.
So, in an attempt to save it, I cleaned it up and gave it a new paint job. As you can see, the casting or molding is not the best and its a hollow so super lightweight.
I love GP's work so I was really excited by this model despite its age and flaws, still one of the most elegant Brachiosaurus in my collection. It's at the 1:40 scale size.

And with its new outfit :)):

PS: I redid the head paint, I was not happy with the whole white patch around the eyes. I will post an update photo once I am able to take photos of it. Cheers! :)

What a transformation from its rather miserable state!

What a wonderful Boki-Repaint. And what an impressive Figure aswell. Since i am not one of the Forum Fossils (In a nice way.), i was not familliar with this. The Pose does remind me slightly of the W-Dragon Giraffatitan. Your Displays must be a colourful fashionshow :D

Chasmosaurus

I really like the choice of colors. They are really well done. It's really nice to see dinosaurs with so much pattern on their skins.
Man is only interested in what he invents while what surrounds him is made in a much more extraordinary and complex way

Halichoeres

Looks great! Really special piece, glad you could rescue it this way. I'll be interested to see how you altered the face.

Thanks everyone, glad you all like her new outfit 😃
I'm happy overall on how it turned out, just a couple of softening the edges to really finish it up.

SidB

What a dramatic, transformative re-infusion of life into this old sculpt, bringing it back from the edge of oblivion. I look forward to your final touches on it - don't keep us waiting for too long!

Update on another of my neglected thread! ;D
I repainted this PNSO Lambeosaurus early last year but never got around to posting it mostly because it was originally was going to be purchased by a fellow collector. In the end, the collector decided on a Corythosaurus instead.
The original version for this was different, more green. But since I now am stuck with the model, I decided to repaint it the way I wanted to. I love the extant Okapi, they are one of my favorite animals. I have always wanted to repaint a hadrosaur using the colors and patterns seen on the Okapi, so this was the perfect time to do that.
I'm pretty happy with how it turned out :D

Gothmog the Baryonyx

I think the Wild Past Tethyshadros is inspired by okapi as well  though it's a lot clearer on your Lambeosaurus. The colours work well, looks reasonable for an animal of its flamboyance.
Megalosaurus, Iguanodon, Archaeopteryx, Cetiosaurus, Compsognathus, Hadrosaurus, Brontosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Albertosaurus, Herrerasaurus, Stenonychosaurus, Deinonychus, Maiasaura, Carnotaurus, Baryonyx, Argentinosaurus, Sinosauropteryx, Microraptor, Citipati, Mei, Tianyulong, Kulindadromeus, Zhenyuanlong, Yutyrannus, Borealopelta, Caihong

Duna

That look works perfectly on Lambeosaurus! I like it very much.  ^-^

ceratopsian

Your repaints always lift my spirits with their bold use of colour.

TooOldForDinosaurs

Just WOW! I love it  :o The original PNSO colour scheme and patterning never really appealed to me, thats why I don't own this figure but this... Wow!

Shonisaurus

The repaint is great it makes very good company for the PNSO lambeosaurus original paint version. Those okapi-style paint colors contrast with the giraffe-style paint colors of PNSO's other lambeosaurus figure,. It's good to see you doing new things.

Bokisaurus

Thank you for the nice comments guys! ^-^
avatar_TooOldForDinosaurs @TooOldForDinosaurs I like the original colors but I can see why it's not for everyone. But with a good repaint (and its only $23!) its amazing how nicely it transform. ;) I don't think I would ever repaint any of the other more expensive PNSO, but I did get a second Spinops to repaint.

avatar_Duna @Duna and avatar_Shonisaurus @Shonisaurus thanks you! It was fun and much more exciting color scheme than the original repaint I did for the commission (I don't have photo of it since I forgot to take one!)

avatar_ceratopsian @ceratopsian Thanks! I'm always happy when I hear someone else enjoying and appreciating the bold shapes and colors of my repaints :D

Excited to see the result of that one!

I want to get into repainting at some point but currently I just can't find the time to get into a new hobby like that unfortunately.
