I noticed that about it too, I like it!

The paintjob is similar to the Deinocheirus but since I don't have that figure it won't bother me. I'll have to get this one. CollectA is at the top of their game this year.

suits the name  :))

Now that I think about it, this might need a PNSO style rod under its torso to prevent sagging over time, especially with how its legs are positioned in comparison to where its chest is. CollectA's bases have resulted in that before (part of why I'm not a fan of them, beyond other reasons).

My CollectA Lythronax has warped significantly despite having a base! Definitely prefer the support rods over permanent bases. It's simply just the more elegant and effective solution.

The CollectA Gallimimus is scheduled to come out in mid 2025. I wonder if by that time we have one from PNSO or Haolonggood.

CollectA taking W after W. I personally prefern the Struthio sculpt but it will be very nice to finally have this genus in my collection

So we currently have three dinosaurs, all from very different families, a mammal, and an invertebrate. I hope that the final reveal next week will include either a pterosaur, an amphibian, or a reptile.

Or perhaps a Cenozoic bird like Titanis or Dromornis or Aepyornis.

I can't believe my luck right now.  :o 6 days ago I was asking on the Cyberzoic thread if anyone knew whether or not Creative Beast Studio still have plans for a Gallimimus. I tend not to collect BotM stuff (for size and budget reasons), but happily do when a figure of theirs is the only good PVC version available of a species I'm interested in. And that's the situation I was foreseeing for Gallimimus, since I wasn't expecting anyone else to really make a figure of it. I'm so relieved I've been proven wrong! As I often say, BotM figures are stunning, just not my personal preference for the aforementioned reasons.

What's even more shocking is that, during yesterday night's (Creative Beast Studio on YouTube) stream, I also asked whether or not they have plans for a Gallimimus... only for, literally, not even 5 minutes after, find out about this beautiful Gallimimus by CollectA.  :o If that isn't exquisite timing, then nothing is.  8)

This obviously is a must-have, in fact, as we all know, a good Gallimimus figure was blatantly overdue. I haven't felt this excited for a new release since Safari's Austroraptor got revealed, about 4 months ago. So now it's turn for overdue species getting the good figures they deserve... Fine.  :)

I'll be having at least a CollectA 2025 figure after all!

Maybe a pterosaur and/or a marine reptile for next week?

I like the CollectA Gallimimus!  I wasn't expecting it from CollectA, it's a pleasant surprise!  Finally a good Gallimimus figure!  It's an improvement on CollectA's Struthiomimus too, I prefer that the Gallimimus has true wings and rectrices, the most modern understanding of ornithomimids.

They should make a new Polycotylid
