It's unclear to me what you mean by your statement above?
Papo hasn't made any unsuccessful models in recent history...what do you classify as recent?

CityRaptor

Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

The Brachiosaurus?
Didn't think it could be that difficult, guys!  ;)

Jetoar

[Off Nick and Eddie's reactions to the dinosaurs] Oh yeah "Ooh, aah", that's how it always starts. But then there's running and screaming.

{about the T-Rex) When he sees us with his kid isn't he gonna be like "you"!?

Well, it's because I believe you're incorrect that any of Papo's '12-'14 models are actually "unsuccessful". Define "less successful than expected"- less successful than you expected?  ::)

Okay. This figure (or statue, should I say  ::) ) has been revealed in species, but no picture yet. It's from a very new company. It's a dinosaur whose real look is weirder than what has been popularly thought.I'm being very pedantic here  ;D

alexeratops

Oh oh ummm... Rebor- yeah! REBOR T-REX! Am I right!?
like a bantha!

alexeratops

And, regarding the one before you, PAPO WOOLLY RHINO. BOOM NAILED IT. DONE. YEAP. RIGHT.

Arul

Manatee

Concavenator, it's the REBOR Utahraptor.
ARUL, it's the Papo Carnotaurus. Including images makes it very easy.
