Okay, that is cool! Now, let's compare our two Herrerasaurus.

Yours is pretty cool with the fire skink situation going on. Mine has a more dull brown colour, but mixed in with some markings, and some oranges markings on the hands feet, and tail. Also, I didn't base anything's colours, just from my imagination. At 2.00 am. ;)

I also notice that you did the shrink wrapping thing, which I have started to avoid, but the design of it is fine. Mines more beefy and is less shrink wrapped.

So, in the end, you have a cool coloured (and patterned) skinny fast looking Herrerasaurus, based off of the fire skink, while I have a more dull colour, with some bright colours mixed here and there, robust, slow looking Herrerasaurus, based off of my imagination at 2 in the morning.

So, that's my comparison. What's yours? :)

Yutyrannus

Here is my comparison.

Yours is very cool with the white body and brightly colored markings on the head. Mine is much more brightly colored and much more complex markings and patterns.

Your Herrerasaur is much chubbier and appears to be a much slower animal. Yours is probably better designed to hunt slow moving prey such as dicynodonts and similar creatures. My Herrerasaurus is a much more slender animal and is designed to hunt down faster moving prey such as Eoraptor and Pisanosaurus (both of which will appear briefly in the Herrerasaurus sequence) and to escape larger predators like Saurosuchus. Overall I think we both came up with awesome looking Herrerasaurs and they are both unique depictions of the species.

Can't wait to see more drawings for your series :)!

"The world's still the same. There's just less in it."

Balaur

My herrerasaur is actually brown, the scanner is either to loght, or I need to make rhe brown more noticable (the latter). In my series, my Herrerasaurus has the appearence of a slow moving animal, but it is infact very quick and acyually quite agile, and there are two different scenes where he attacks and uses his deceptive speed to hunt Pisanosaurus. He is an ambush predator, but he is quite the deceptive Herrerasaurus.

Also, I am going to,provide further info in my Herrerasaurus and the other creatures I've posted drawings of as they will be in the series.

Yep, that sums up comparison #1.

When I finish Cryolophosaurus I guess we can do this again. It was fun actually!

I just need to get that crest right.....

Yutyrannus

There is a similar part in my Herrerasaurus sequence where the Herrerasaur ambushes a Pisanosaurus, runs it down, and kills it with a bite to its neck. Can't wait to see your Eoraptor and Pisanosaurus, which you can then compare to mine. :)

"The world's still the same. There's just less in it."

Concavenator

Very nice Herresaurus,Balaur and Yutyrannus!  :)

Yutyrannus

Two new ones:

Teratophoneus

Heterodontosaurus

The Heterodontosaurus has red eyes, though I am not sure how well they turned out in the scan.

Balaur

So you just did your first creature that is not the main creature of the sequence.

*updates white board*

Anyways, I like the Tetraphoneus, but I LOVE the Heterodontosaurus. I like the colouring aound its eyes and its quills!

That Tetraphoneus is pretty cool too!   :)

Yutyrannus

Thanks Balaur and Juan Andres, I am very happy with how the Heterodontosaurus turned out :). Expect to see a Melanorosaurus either today or tomorrow.

Nice list. I have to correct you on that Concavenator and Guidraco could have never met. Guidraco lived in China and Concavenator in Spain. Or is it that the Guidraco traveled to Spain?

Also, I am proud to say that I've never heard of Hagryphus, Coronosaurus, and Ostfarikasaurus. Very obscure species, and they and a lot of the animals here are good choices.

Thanks, for correcting me, I thought Guidraco lived in Spain, what theropod could I replace Concavenator with?

Very nice species!
I also have plans for a Monolophosaurus,but killing a young Tuojiangosaurus  :)

You can use Sinotyrannus, which is a pretty large tyrannosaur with a crest like Guanlong.

I have another correction on the creature list.

Iguanodon did not live with Tarascosaurus and Pyroraptor, but there probably were some Iguanodonts there, not sure what species though.

Oh, I must have gotten mixed up with Rhabdodon. I will fix that now. Also expect to see Hagryphus and Melanorosaurus soon (sorry I am taking so long with the Melanorosaurus, I haven't had time to color it yet.

Sorry, but I have another nitty pick on the creature list. Hagryphus unforutenentally lived 75 mya, and Utahraptor 125 mya.

Oh, that sucks! Well I really want him in my series so I guess I'll put it in The Last Dinosaurs as a sixth sequence. :)

I think that's a great solution! Way to combat my "actually"'s. :)
