I got several in that order that's coming in soon... Papo Apato, Carnegie Diplodocus, some 2015 Wild Safari models, and some CollectA stuff too. Need to make space!

Got lots of new stuff over the last few weeks.

Carnotaurus party:

I'd never thought I'd be into collecting sauropods, but they look so nice and graceful.

This guy from this year is soooo nice!

Another versus photo shoot in the backyard:

Camo!

Yet another versus photo shoot:

All of my Carnegie Collection figures. I think my top 5 favorites are:
1. Cryolophosaurus
2. New Carnotaurus
3. Old Brachiosaurus
4. Diplodocus
5. New Brachiosaurus

And here is the shelf I try to display all of them on. It's running out of space, which is a little scary.

I know some of you don't like it, but the Rebor Rex looks so good. Can't wait for the Ceratosaurus.

Almost complete set. Missing the majestic, albeit, vastly underrated Vagaceratops (It's the 3rd best out of 5, imo). I'm also missing one. I need to get the Nasutoceratops!

WS trike is amazing, im planning to get it soon  :D

Your collection is absolutely amazing!!!!

The best part to me, is that you collect by creature category so it's easy to see how they stack up to each other.

Absolutely wonderful collection!

Thanks! It is fun to rotate figures on it every few days.

New pictures. Got the Dilophosaurus skull in today and I'm impressed. More about it in this topic. Still waiting for the Cryo and Mono skulls to arrive.

Nice! Post pictures when you get it!

Here is this big boy who arrived today. My very first Sideshow statue. The worst part about this is that I now want more.

Amazing  :). I see that you have the version 1 variant. All the v2 colors seem to be less inspired. How the heck does that thing balance itself?  I also have one SS, namely, the Mosasaur, and I still can't figure out how it stays so perfectly balanced  :o

I also like your Dilophosaurus skull. It has this sweet caramel/mocha finish.

Yes, the engineering, craftsmanship, and artistry that go into these is amazing. I agree too, the v2 prototype looked very impressive, but the delivered product's paint app did not impress. Luckily, I scored this guy brand new on an Ebay auction that no one really paid attention to last week and got him at a very low price considering it's v1.

As for it balancing itself. I have no clue, really since I was so impressed. It has one peg in leg that contacts and fits into the base. The peg looks strong, but I was surprised at how sturdy and centered statue is on the base. Absolutely no wiggling or looseness. SS really knows how to execute on that front flawlessly. Their packing inside the boxes is second to none too.

Halichoeres

Is it a single-piece cast? If not, could it be that the tail is at least partially constructed of a higher-density material?
