I know little about Starlux. How rare are these two exactly?

Actually Starlux is one of the lines I have never collected so I don't know much about them. Their dinosaurs always looked cartoony to me but some of their other stuff like the Cephalaspis do look good. There is one listed on eBay France right now and the guy is "asking" 300 euros. Of course you can ask anything but looking at some of the other prices on ebay saying you did very well is an understatement.

The Ouranosaurus is more notable as one of the first figures of the genus.

The Cephalaspis, along with the Drepanaspis, trilobite, brachiopod, some of the more unusual non-dinos and a few of the easy-break models (Synthetoceros, one of the Tanystropheus) are probably among the hardest to find in good shape, and can require ridiculous money to buy (although 300 Euros seems extreme).

Overall, their best figures are their not-dinosaurs. The range of reptiles and mammals is especially good.

Okay, thanks for the info. Despite this great surprise find, this knowledge hasn't fully convinced me of the need to start collecting Starlux too. That would be fairly expensive I reckon.

Nice acquisitions everyone.

I'm currently waiting for my Synthetoceras.

For now I just bought the issue #1 of "Conosca más" magazine T. Rex Skeleton + Skin. It measures 4ft.

I haven't followed closely, but I know it wasn't cheap (unless you knew how to look in France!) about 10 years ago when I was gathering the ones I wanted (I have a far-from-complete collection, but I have all of the ones I want, so that's good enough).

I got my hands on the
Carnegie 2012 Brachiosaurus
Safari 2013 Gryposaurus
CollectA 2013 (I think) T-rex with prey
and the Shleich Parasauralophus

It was 2012, but manufacture delays meant that they weren't available for the most part until 2013.
Thanks.

Scored these at the Oertijdmuseum today. Bunch of semi-decent dinosaur (bad spelling though) 3D puzzles and a large AAA Smilodon. And some other stuff not yet pictured too, because I don't know how that might affect the current exchange rate of PlayVision Amphibians. :)

docronnie

Awesome new hauls everyone!

We have those puzzle dinos here at our toy stores and they are selling well.

Hynerpeton

Got a baby stegosaurus in a arcade.
Walking With Monsers:
[about Lystrosaurus] Astonishingly, their vast herds make up more than half of all life on Earth. Never again will a single species do so well.

Walking With Monsters: (Hynerpeton) To avoid injury the males demonstrate their strength  in a strange  push up contest.

Gwangi

Oh boy did I get some cool stuff today!

And I'm just gonna put this little guy here, just because he also arrived today. I've named him Reptilicus.

tyrantqueen

So, what are your thoughts on the SEGA Tyrannosaurus? Impressive, is it not? >:D

Also, cute snake :)

Very impressive, already one of the crown jewels of my collection I dare say! I think I like the older paint scheme better but this one does look more natural. Getting his tail in place was a pain though and his legs are warped from shipping. After I took that photo he fell right over and already has a tiny scuff mark on his face! You can see why I don't generally collect high end stuff. I've been wanting the Sega rex for a long time though. Feels good to finally have it, didn't think I would ever get one!

EDIT: Forgot to add this photo of him on display.

DinoLord

Nice Sega Rex Gwangi. I have one coming in next week. I agree that this color scheme is better than the old one, but it's still a bit dull. I'm kind of tempted to have Martin repaint this one...

It's such a beautiful model. I don't think I'll ever need to buy another T. rex figure again...not that I won't.

Alexxitator

Yayyy I've been at it again in Japan!

Thanks guys!

I think this time my favorite piece is a head too; dunkleosteus! Just love that monster to pieces...

Ridureyu

I recently scored one of Unimax's not-really-dinosaurs Dino Warriors.  This guy was from the harder-to-find second series, and it's too bad that I didn't end up with his orc rider buddy, too.  But he is cool!

EmperorDinobot

I got that, no idea what it is, either.
