This whole order came from urzeitshop.de, took only 2 days to get to the Netherlands.
The anatomy Trex isnt from Famemaster, but Revell, got it at ToysXL...

Guess I should check out Urzeitshop then. :)

The Rex sure looks a lot like its FameMaster counterpart, save its smaller size. Maybe Revell holds the license for FameMaster products in some territories? Whatever the case is, it once again bugs me the ToysXL in my town closed down over a year ago and all the cool dinosaur toys they carried can't be found elsewhere... :(

Well there are 2 near my place ( Enschede, Hengelo) , only dinosaur toys they had were this trex and the usual schleich stuff.

A lovely little lot today. Now I have both feathered versions of the rex set and finally the regular guy.
And both versions of Allosaurus  ^-^

I just found these Battat Mini's and got 6 for just under $10, including S.H.  I have never had old Battat's, so this was a chance to get some at a reasonable price.  On Ebay every Battat seems to be $45.00 on up.  I am not sure what the Mini's are worth so I wonder if I got a good deal?  Even if I didn't, they still go nicely with the rest of my collection.

sauroid

that's an awesome deal, laticauda! congratulations.

Megalosaurus

Good choices Nebuloid.
I like that you give preference this time to non-dinosaurs. Love the mammals & the pteranodon.
I also remember when I received my Bully ammonite: "This is SO BIG!!!"  :o

Wonder no more, 'good deal' is a severe understatement in this case! :)

I just received the last Parasaurolophus tubicen by Malcolm Mlodoch from Dan's Dinosaurs. It is a truly beautiful figure and my favorite in my collection.

Anyway I had even more figures come in today, went for animals other than the usual :

Many of these are MUCH bigger than I anticipated, and I dont remember ordering 2 Mojo Deinotheriums, oops. 8)

I love your marine creatures there...I know nothing about them but I want them. I have ammonite envy.
Slowly running out of room...one toy at a time!

10 Dollars for 6 Mini Battats :o? That's a truly AWESOME deal :D!!!!!

I knew the full sized Battat's were expensive, I wasn't sure how much the minis were worth (a neither did the person who sold me them).  The person listed them as mini dinosaurs, when I saw the picture, I was like  ;D gotta take a chance on this!  So what do the minis usually go for compared to the full sized?

Wow, laticauda, that is a very VERY good price! Congrats. I'm not sure what the going rate is on these, but it can be higher than some of the full-size, especially the mini T. rex. Did you find them on eBay? I gotta start looking again. LOL! When I got the whole set of full-size figures when they were still being sold retail (I actually got the very last full set from that particular store), I remember the person I was talking to on the phone asking me if I also wanted the mini versions. I stupidly STUPIDLY declined the offer, thinking why do I need mini versions of the full-size ones? The full-size figures are much better detailed anyway. But this was at the start of my collecting again in the late '90s. I didn't know the "worth" of certain lines. And I think Battat made less mini figures than their standard ones. So they are harder to find. Correct me if I'm wrong, Battat aficionados. :-\

Just found this page on eBay. it gives you an idea what sellers are currently trying to get...

I didn't know anything about Battat until I stumbled onto the Toy Blog.  I knew about Carnegie, as those where the first Dinosaur toys I started to collect, and Battat was not sold in my little universe when I was a kid.  I don't blame you one bit for passing on the minis because I would have done the same thing.  I can't believe people would sell the minis for that much!   :o

Yes, I did find them on E-Bay, but not under Battat.  I was looking at dinosaur lots, to see what would come up. I was thinking "Maybe, I would find something cool for my kids."   I wasn't even planning to buy anything, but I am glad I did!  :))

Well, now you know you stumbled upon a little goldmine! Hehe! You might reconsider having these as kiddie play toys. ;)

If you're looking for any of the original full-size figures, here's the complete set in mint condition and still in their sealed plastics. Although, the price tag is just a wee steep! :o

SBell

I finally found the Papo Woolly Rhino in a store today, so I now have it.

I got it at the Royal Tyrrell Museum! Which, sadly, has nothing but Shleich and Papo (on Safari acrylic shelves no less!). So that was disappointing (as was the store overall).

However, my son did pretty well--he got two different plush Albertonectes! One was a basic Wild Republic plush, and one was like their 5-foot snakes, except with a little plesiosaur body at the distal end. I just got the clearance T-shirt...

Brachiosaurus

My mom got me all 4 of the currently released Terra Dinosaurs. I will get them when I come home for Thanksgiving. Yay ;D ;D ;D ;D

Congrats everyone on your hauls!  Congrats Brachiosaurus on your Terra dinosaurs!  Got mine last Saturday night from my Uncle Bob! :)

and this:

Not a dino.

Also got the following from my toy hunts:

I don't know if this is an early issue of The Carnegie Stego.  It is stamped 1988.  This is different from what I have already.  This one has a larger head and the left thagomizers are fused.

Favorite Deinonychus

My first Papo figure! :) :) :)

TFL! :)
