I like the new paint scheme; are you using a wash to darken the recesses on the model?  Keep having fun!   :)

Thank you RockyMountainRex!   I use a dark base color and a lighter to highlight the reliefs.  ;)

It's amazing what a more professional recolor can do to bring out the details in such cheap Chinasaurs. Great job! I might give re-paints a try one of these days but I have no idea what kind of paint or tools I'd need...

You somehow manage to accomplish a more professional paint job than the original colour schemes. Good work putting those manufacturers to shame!
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

CityRaptor

Well, those are pretty cheap Chinasaurs. So ofcourse they have cheap paintjobs. It however shows how much of a difference colors can make.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

How do you paint the eyes and the little dots? That is the hard part to me.

Where did you get that from??????  I have one of those in a different paint scheme and it's one of my favourites. Nice repaint by the way.

I don't know if Mighty King does the same, but I'm in the habit of using the end of a cocktail stick. Hope that helps :)

That Styrac is a copy of a copy. There is an Animal Planet version likely inspired by the battat figure, and this is similar just not sculpted as well not to mention whatever went wrong with the tail. Nice colour scheme by the way.
