Speak of the devil, I just got out my old Fur Real Friends last week and low and behold I stumble across the one and only one I was still seeking.

Is that the same one that also poses as a Tyrannosaurus and a "Pteranodon" ?
Indeed it is, the penguin and duckling too.

QuoteAh, Digimon. I always considered that the better of the two Monster franchises ending with -mon. Better characters, better monsters, better story, better mascot ( it's basically Gon, while the rival has some oversized rodent... )

I do think Digimon designs are cooler. I've always loved their designs, ever since I was a kid. I think Pokemon has better games though.

After a bit of confusion from the postal service my latest trade arrived today.

Kaiyodo larval squid. Photo really doesn't do it justice, especially the way that the eyes are done.

Kaiyodo soil inverts (minus earthworm)
Pillbug Armadillidium vulgare (my favorite of the set)
Tardigrade Echiniscus japonicus
Mole Cricket Gryllotalpa orientalis
Earwig Anisolabis maritima

And some unexpected surprises (the Bullyland puffer up top managed to sneak out of the picture).

Nebuloid

Over the last month I cought the Star Wars bug again, so I had to order some big boxes of goodies :

Unfortunately most of my dinosaurs are now in boxes because ofcourse I had to pull out my SW collection. Great to see those figures after years of living in storage !

Halichoeres

Nice Italian-packaging Xizor! If you're looking for any POTF-era stuff, I have a bunch I'm thinking of offloading. I love 'em, but I really don't have space and it's sort of a waste to have them languishing in boxes.
In the kingdom of the blind, better take public transit. Well, in the kingdom of the sighted, too, really--almost everyone is a terrible driver.

My attempt to find the best toy of every species

My trade/sale/wishlist thread

Patrx

Hah! Nice. I always liked the design for Baboo, it seemed like those wing structures of his were never seen in detail on the show itself. I think I have the Finster from that set somewhere.

I think he is my favourite out of Rita's henchmen. He does have "wings" on the first episode and in the intro.

Just picked up a couple of the new NECA AvP Xenomorph figures! I just started collecting these a couple months ago (when my fiancee gave me the Queen for Christmas  :)) ), and since the alien from AvP is my favorite rendition of the creature, I decided to pass on the models from the first couple movies and wait for these instead, and they did not disappoint!

I am soooo jealous! I could only afford NECA Ripley. All my xenomorphs are tiny Kenner hybrid ones, except for one ReAction big chap.

You got quite a have there. But that means that we have to nuke your place from orbit! It's the only way to be sure!

Wow, that thing gets around.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

Uroplatus

So here are most of my 6" Star Wars additions from the last 2 month's...

I missed a few years of these guy's so i have some serious catching up to do, which isn't an easy task with Hasbro's distribution issues and all the Ebay scalpers trying to get rich over these.
I also picked up an original Black Series Darth Maul and a 6" POTJ mega destruction droid, and i'm waiting for a well overdue Anakin Skywalker and a few SH Figuarts models to appear at my doorstep.

Cheers.

Kitan Club salamander(s) and newts arrived today, very pleased with them!

Japanese fire belly newt, Cynops pyrrhogaster. Two adults and a juvenile, the adults are about 1:1 scale but I'm not sure at what age they change colour so I don't know the young ones scale.

Sword-tail newt, Cynops ensicauda. It's almost 2/3 of their maximum length but they don't seem to change their colours based on size or age so it can safely be 1:1 scale for a small adult or up to 1:2 scale.

Japanese giant salamander, Andrias japonicus. One came on a keychain the other has a magnet in it. It was very difficult to measure but I think it's about 20cm spine length placing them in 7.5 scale.

I actually got baby Otachi a couple days ago half price at TRU. I like that the umbilical cord is removable, it makes a good deceased/deformed pterosaur embryo.

I got a second Safari ltd. bluespotted ribbontail ray, Taeniura lymma. For the second hand price I couldn't resist. Although only about 1:3 of an adult size they seem to be coloured more like juveniles (the silver brown colour seems to fade to green with age).

At half price (thank goodness) I got a JW "Dimorphodon". I got this one a few weeks ago actually, but I'm sure everyone understands why I didn't think it was worth bothering to post on its own.

Invicta Hunter

I got some cool looking unreleased prototype figures today, they come from a TV series/card game called Chaotic.
The characters names are Kolmo Assimilated, Maxxor and Tangath Toborn.

They are cool indeed. I specially like the one with four arms.

sauroid

just got the complete boxed set of the Rage volume of Monster Hunter figure builder PLUS series

"you know you have a lot of prehistoric figures if you have at least twenty items per page of the prehistoric/dinosaur section on ebay." - anon.

tyrantqueen

My two new Dinobots, Slag and Sludge. Sludge is my favourite dinobot by the way. I don't have Swoop, Grimlock or Snarl yet but they're on their way.

Sorry about the poor photography, I'm about to go out.
