My school sketches look like rubbish compared to this. This is just wonderful!!

Love this one. Looks like a tiny blunt-snouted bittern!

a rather sloppy environment sketch featuring two generic dromaeosaurs. i pretty much did this so i could practice water reflections in pen. still in progress.

Nice job! I'm only 12, but I have enough art experience to know that drawing reflections is not a simple task.  ;)

the first of whats going to be the first of my new series of 1:20 scale paper model dinosaurs. heres albertosaurus

Wow, seeing the first pictures in thes thread, which are already great in technique and design, I have to say your skills have even increased during the last year :)...

... and being a great fan of paper art (origami aswell as papercraft) I really like your Albertosaurus model. Did you use Pepakura or did you design it completly manually? Do you plan to create a colored pattern?

/thumbsup for some great work!

thank you both. the albertosaurus was designed and made by hand using skeletal references. unfortunately, some aspects of it seems lacking( specifically the girth of the neck is a bit too much and the shape of the skull is way too narrow from the top view) so i put the albertosaurus on hold for a while. but in the meantime, i do plan on knocking out some 1:20 scale models of the paleofauna found in the hell creek formation. all colored and everything.

LophoLeeVT

oooooh... looking forward to it!

I'm digging that Carnotaurus, especially how much movement it seems to have.
