Pretty sure that was sarcasm, given how similar Charonosaurus and Parasaurolophus look.
Jurassic Park is frightning in the dark
All the dinosaurs are running wild
Someone let T. Rex out of his pen
I'm afraid those things'll harm me
'Cause they sure don't act like Barney
And they think that I'm their dinner, not their friend
Oh no

It seemed strange to me that a brand of toy dinosaurs would make a charonosaurus in the near future, but one also lives by illusion.

CityRaptor

Well, maybe if a fossil site specific set was released. Or one of those Kaiyodo Capsule Q sets, like this one:
http://dinotoyblog.com/2014/08/31/tyrannosaurus-collection-kaiyodo-capsule-q-museum/
but focusing on Parasaurolophus.  ( A Lambeosaurinae Set would probably have Parasaurolophus instead of Charonosaurus )

Impressive comeback of this thread! I´ll be following it with high interest.

Thanks! Though I probably won't be getting much new stuff for a while, the way things are at the moment.

avatar_triceratops83 @triceratops83 By the way, as you mentioned that we will have charonosaurus in their place, are there rumors that charonosaurus will be produced in the toy market? Do you still mean the possible PNSO charonosaurus? I wish it were so.

Yeah, a bit of a joke on my part, but the silhouettes of upcoming PNSO toys figured into it. :))
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Just waiting for a few more things to arrive in the mail before I post another lot of dinosaurs, but in the meantime, here's a bunch of paintjobs and modified figures.

The Lindberg Corythosaurus. I tried to give it a subdued paintjob - in the past I've given retro models outlandish colours which don't suit them.

The little Tamiya Hypsilophodon.

Walking with Dinosaurs Anatotitan

WWD Muttaburrasaurus. You'll notice I actually fixed a common annoyance with this figure and gave it toes.

JP3 Corythosaurus. Not my original idea, I've seen this exact same thing done before (probably on this forum years ago)

Hypacrosaurus adult and juvenile

And my ever increasing Skull Island scene
In the end it was not guns or bombs that defeated the aliens, but that humblest of all God's creatures... the Tyrannosaurus rex.

Shonisaurus

The painting works have been fabulous, I especially like those of the anatotitan and the muttaburrasaurus of WWD.

Justin_

Is the Hypacrosaurus adult made from the Schleich Parasaurolophus, and the juvenile from the Tamiya one?

What are the little white figures on your Skull Island scene?

avatar_Justin_ @Justin_  Bingo! It's not a real Schleich, though, just a knockoff. And those are 1:72 Russian Sailors from Pegasus.

Faelrin

Those modified figures are absolutely beautiful. I'm certainly a fan of the WWD inspired ones, and the JPIII Corythosaurus (still waiting for Mattel to make this one too). I also had no idea Tamiya made a Hypsilophodon before. It's a wonderful little figure from the looks of it.

Thanks avatar_Faelrin @Faelrin, and the Hypsilophodon comes in the Mesozoic Creatures pack.

I always like seeing your repaints. It took me a moment to recognize the Safari Edmontosaurus under the WWD Anatotitan's new green duds.

Also, was there a Dunkleosteus in Skull Island? I almost want to watch it just for that!

Those customs are beautiful and the color schemes are really pleasing. The Muttaburrasaurus looks pretty great, if the official bfigure was actually like that it would be the best Mutta figure out there.

Thanks! And that's the Mojo Dunkleosteus. My Skull Island diorama's mostly based on the original 1933 Kong, but I prefer the Piranhadon in Peter Jackson's version to a carnivorous Brontosaurus in the swamp scene. Would prefer something like a Rhizodus, but the Mojo Dunk will do for now. Just got to figure out how to do a swamp in such a little area.

Thanks! That's a real compliment! I'm working on more customs at the moment (just gotta wait for more Greenstuff to arrive in the mail)

Thought I'd divide up the recent additions since there were quite a few and post a bunch now. So here's another big, image heavy post, which of course if you're reading this it's already too late...gulp!

Two Para skeletons, one of those wooden ones that countless companies have produced, but in this case Heebie Jeebies, and the Geoworld one.

Pfff...Various little cheapies.

This Collecta Corythosaurus didn't really deserve a photo all of its own, but well, there it is.

Various La-na time buys. I got excited when they seemed to carry the Colorata range, but I guess it's a knock-off.

A couple of Kaiyodo Iguanodons and a "can't quite recall at this moment" Lambeosaurus.

Toyway WWD Leaellynasaura.

Two Saurolophus - Sega and Tyco.

Favorite Iguanodon. Iguanodon's one of a handful of lucky dinosaurs like Allosaurus and Styracosaurus who have a proportionally high number of good representations in the toy form.

Cretaceous book shelf scene with 1:35 Safari dinosaurs, updated from previously with Edmontosaurus. Hoping to get a Doug Watson Alamosaurus at some point in the future. Captain Engelhorn for scale.

Jurassic 1:35 scene. Once again I'm hoping for a Safari Brontosaurus. Captain Engelhorn's there again. Now, there's supposed to be a trio of Schleich Fir Trees here, which I bought in July and spent a fortune on them and postage, but the tracking stopped short at Customs in Brisbane and it's been there ever since. Unless they were accidently shipped with a bunch of machine guns and cocaine, I don't know what the holdup is. I've been ordering stuff from China that gets here in a week, you'd think they'd rather slow that stuff down.

My new Ornithopod Bookcase, cobbled together from a few flatpacks so I could get enough shelves. You'd think furniture stores could order in more shelves, but what are you gonna do? The emptiest shelf is awaiting a ton of Shapeways stuff I'll photograph when they arrive and are painted.

And my "herd" of extant duck-billed dinosaurs.

I'm still waiting on a few highly anticipated things in the mail, which when they show up, I'll post pics of as well as a few customs I'm working on. Hope you enjoyed the show!

Nice figures many of them added to your collection. Tyco's saurolophus is one of the prettiest (to me) of that brand. It's a shame he didn't get it back in the day.

The Colorata and Kaiyodo miniatures are spectacular and very well modeled on all the iguanodon.

I think the Struthiomimus might be my favorite Dino-rider, although I never owned it. As a kid I had the Tyrannosaurus, Styracosaurus, Pachyephalosaurus (which I still consider to be one of the best representations of the genus), Ankylosaurus and Pterodactylus.

Here's a post-script to my previous, uh, post. The Papo Para repaint arrived today, thought I'd share some in hand photos of it. While not as good as the stock photo, it turned out better than pics I'd seen of it that looked like a child had scribbled on it with a black crayon. The base colours are gorgeous, and while the black markings aren't quite well done, it does look OK in person. I'd say I prefer the repaint over the old version.

Faelrin

Congrats on all of those spectacular acquisitions, especially some of those harder to find ones, such as the WWD Leaellynasaura. Excellent displays as well (particularly the formation inspired ones), and your ducks are cute too.

The new Papo Parasaurolophus repaint looks good in your pic here, in regards to the color scheme. Not too terribly far off from the prototype from the looks of it. I definitely think this would look nice alongside the Acrocanthosaurus, or even the Cryolophosaurus.

Shonisaurus

I congratulate you on your new acquisition. Papo's parasaurolophus, in this case the photographs that circulate on the Internet do not do him justice, although his promotional figure is better in terms of repainting than the real figure. Anyway, the actual figure of the parasaurolophus is an acceptably good figure.

triceratops83

Thanks Faelrin and Shonisaurus. I had braced for the worse case scenario with that Papo but I'm actually quite pleased with it.

I find the Papo colour scheme in your photo attractive.
