Merry Christmas Robin makes a very attractive and sincerely economic purchase by buying at once all the forty-eight miniatures of PNSO prehistoric animals. I fortunately picked them up but, I tell you that the customs service will keep you back and more for these parties the PNSO dinosaur package so you'll have to wait.

The same happened to me buying the twenty-four mini figures (novelties of 2019) of PNSO of Acro-man.

Have a happy Christmas Party and may all your wishes come true Robin.

As I'm a devoted Mammoth' collector  ;) , I knew that Design Toscano had one in the line too.
I also knew that it was quite big.
What I didn't know is that it could be SO big..  :o

So, here it is:  Design Toscano Woolly Mammoth

To figure out how colossal it is, a comparison with the Eofauna Palaeoloxodon:

..well, Design Toscano Mammoth is huge..  8)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have only one other Design Toscano figure: the Caulkicephalus

Great images. You're right that Elasmotherium is waaay better than Collecta's, but I know which one I can afford and therefore which one I will be buying. It's no Cooper but I'm looking forward to it just the same.

Some beautiful acquisitions (and photos!)  The Stegodon is very impressive.

Same here. 98% of my collection is toys because of cheap.
But I don't worry that much seeing how PNSO, Eofauna, W-Dragon, even REBOR and other brands put their effort into making the "toys" more "statue".
The gap is narrowing but the price is still within an affordable range.
Today you may not afford Cooper and you don't like Collecta and you think making a compromise on the inferior is the only way.
But tomorrow an other brand will make a new model as good and as cheap as you desire.
That what I told myself - to wait and see.

Only problem these new brands have - too many carnivores and JP monsters.....  :(

So if you want a herbivore such as Elasmotherium, yeah, buy Collecta and repaint  ::)

By the way Robin the forty-eight figures of PNSO (magnificent miniatures of prehistoric animals in their entirety) must have cost you more than 150 euros. Did you have to pay customs fees? In my nation, any extra-community package whose price is equal to or greater than 150 euros is eternally withheld from me by customs and they make me pay to release it a somewhat excessive tax rate.

On the other hand I congratulate you on your acquisitions. As for the stegodon (I already knew of its existence from the paleontology books I have always wondered that this is the real reconstruction of this pachyderm, I wonder how it could have survived with those fangs that prevented it from moving its trunk with freedom. as they claim the reconstruction of that poor elephant would have suffered a torment in life with those fangs.

If in Spain you have to pay a tax for an item valued more than 150 euro, well, you're very lucky..
In my Country I have to pay a tax for every item valued more than 22 euro (not 150..).
I have to pay an extra 22% (calculated on item price + shipping price ) plus a fixed Customs' fee.
For sure in my Country it's not an easy life for a collector.  :-X  :-\

Then Robin Did you come with the forty-eight dinosaurs this book in English and with illustrations by Zhao Chuang? What a luxury! If I know I would have asked Amazon to buy the forty-eight figures, although obviously twenty-four I already had them since last year.

That book is very interesting, do you know if they sell it on eBay or Amazon?
