Thank you. It helps to have good skeletal references.  ^-^

S/he has a body! It is based on Scott Hartman's skeletal drawing. The proportions are not spot-on but I think it is as close as I am going to get it.

That Para is sure looking good! Might try sculpting an ornithopod myself, like Shantungosaurus or Lambeosaurus which I always liked.
Excellent work!

Thanks, Juancho142. Do it, the world needs more onithopods!
Here are some progress pictures of the right side:

This is my first ornithopod and I'm not very familiar with their anatomy like that of other dinosaurs. I'm using a few good sources, but I'm not completely sure about how accurate it is.

The side view of the legs looks very good! Are you using sculpey firm for the grey part? Would you recommend it over the regular tan sculpey? This is looking great!!

Thank you. I use a 50/50 mix of Super Sculpey firm and original Super Sculpey. It is harder to mix and takes a little longer but it holds detail well while being more workable than straight firm.

Thanks, Dinomike.
I made a stamp the other day and I just tested it out.

I'm not sure how the scales are in terms of accuracy or whether I should really sculpt them at all but I tried it anyways. Are there any thoughts on this? I wasn't able to find the dimensions of hadrosaur scales in life so I guessed this time. I'm debating on whether or not I should add scales or leave the sculpture smooth with only wrinkles. Here's a more distant shot:

EDIT: From the looks of it I also need to make the hips a lot less wide as well.

What scale is the sculpt in? Hadrosaur scales are pretty small in real life so if the scale's small enough they might not even be visible.

Pachyrhinosaurus

This one is in 1:20 and just under seventeen inches long from the nose to tail tip.

I can't offer any info/tips on anatomy, but I just wanted to say it's great to see a custom hadrosaur- especially a Para!  Very cool to see the WIP shots.
Do you plan to give her a complete paint job after the sculpt is finished? :)

DinoLord

In 1:20 I imagine the scales if visible would be extremely small, though I don't have any measurements off the top of my head.

I do plan on painting it. It'll probably end up having blues and purples in it with browns, maybe even yellows or reds.
Here's what the texture looks like now:

I used this toutorial: http://paint-sculpt.com/tutorials/sculpting-tutorial/sculpting-skin-texture.html
I can't say it's the best thing I've tried but I suppose it is better than oversized scales. How accurate would an elephant-like pattern be? If this doesn't work I may just make the sculpture smooth and have the paint do the work. I did a rhino that way and it turned out okay:

Thank you.
Raptor64870, I will continue on the indominus after I am finished with other sculptures which have (increasingly shorter) deadlines.
I decided to go with my original stamp with scales as recent discussion made me reconsider.
Also, if anyone's interested in looking at my modern animal sculptures, I have a whole thread on STS for them:
